If you've looked up the genuine Dyson filter you were probably shocked by the price and went looking for an alternative. That's what brought me here. The price on this one looked much more realistic, but I feared it might be too good to be true. It was.
The lack of quality is clear at first glance. The seal is thin and crumpled. The fabric filter is about half the thickness of the original. The paper filter has no more than half the surface area (far less folds).
It fits and it will filter some dust, but I would plan on tossing these each time rather than washing. Not much of a deal when you look at it that way.
