Russian Hockey player and FBI intern
April 9, 2019
Jael Pereira, a college senior, FBI intern loved hockey. She and her best friends often spends their time at the Washington hockey team VIP box seats. (thanks to one of her wealth friend who is part owner of the team). When she spots new handsome Russian Hockey player SERGEI DRAKONOV. When she has chance to meet him she didn't hesitate and that lead to one night stand... That's what she thought until she went to intern job at FBI.
Sergei never thought he would face his brother again. He left Russia for US when he was in his teens and was never close to him. Now Vladimir is part of Russian mob in US and connected to numerous illegal activities and he is planning to use Sergei to expand his illegal business.
FBI has been eyeing Sergei in connection to Vladimir and it was perfect opportunity for them to use Jael to be informant/undercover. Jael has to record all her conversation and debrief her boss. She didn't feel it was right but FBI was her dream job and she didn't want to miss this opportunity.
Now Jael feels guilty for tricking Sergei and she wants to help him when he is threaten by his brother. Everything seems to work for both until Sergei discovers Jael has been recording......
Story line moved quickly and their relationship seems to move quick as well. I didn't love as much as other hockey sport romance books but it was different take on sports romance type books.
I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
