I bought it because of the size. 400G is huge and I wanted the storage space. However, when I got the drive and plugged it in, it worked for a few days and then it broke. I couldn't see any files on the drive and Properties showed it was almost half full. Since it wouldn't store anything or allow me to create any folders to test it then I got it replaced. The replacement didn't work at all. I plugged it into the drive slot and it showed nothing. File Manager showed it was plugged in but that was all. I sent it back for a refund.
The two machines I plugged it into are my Alienware laptop and my Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Both machines worked fine with other drives but not this one. I am truly disappointed.
Failed after 5 mins of transferring. Then computer wouldn’t read it. Tried different computers and third party programs to format, etc to no avail. Price was too good to be true. In my instance, I got what I paid for.
When I purchased this product I thought it was to good to be true that a 400gig micoSD card was only $40.. and boy was I right. I bought this product to add memory to my Nintendo Switch and after downloading roughly 30gigs of data nothing else would download. It’s a shame that Amazon allows people to sell scam / fake products on their website but hopefully this review could help someone avoid this product.
the capacity was 400gb. i used it in my apple mac book air with the sdcard holder and in my go pro hero 5. i had working for 3months. then my mac fell and the sd card got a crack. so will buy one again to try it out when it goes on sale.
Fake card, not really 400gb, not even close. I lost an entire vacation of amazing photos due to this piece of garbage. I really wish Amazon would stop allowing such unscrupulous sellers and products to be sold here.
