This is my first electric mower, corded or otherwise. I was intrigued by the idea of lower long-term maintenance cost. I received it today and used it immediately. It came mostly assembled from the factory, requiring me to only assemble the handle. It cut well in shorter grass, but I noticed it started bogging down on clumps of crabgrass or wild garlic, requiring me to slow down and/or go over it twice. To be fair, my 5.75 hp gas mower tended to do the same on thicker clumps. After about 15 yards, one of the back wheels fell off. Upon further inspection, it should have had a cotter pin holding it on, but it seems it was never installed. Easily fixed, but it makes me wonder what else was missed from the factory. Once that was fixed, I was able to finish mowing the lawn. I was pleasantly surprised that the mower fit under my boat trailer. The low profile motor had plenty of clearance under the frame, so I don't have to keep moving the trailer. I was using the grass thrower, but it seems that more grass was leaking from around the bagger hatch than was being thrown. Everything looked like it fit together as intended, but there is obviously a leak there. As such, a large amount of grass collected on top of the mower. I could see this being a fire hazard, if left unchecked. I used a 100' 12-gauge cord with this mower. With it, I was able to easily reach my entire .25 acre lot. All in all, the mower does the job, despite having a few things I will look into correcting in the future. I just wish it had a little more power to get through the job faster.
Pros: Very lightweight, easy to maneuver, low profile motor, simple height adjustment, grass thrower attachment is secure, easy operation all-around
Cons: Power is not amazing, factory assembly lacking QC, grass leakage, you have to plan out your path around obstacles/trees
