Top positive review
Has a lot of nice features
November 5, 2018
I've decided to lower my rating to a 4. I originally got these in Black and then returned them when the Rose Gold became available. When I received the Rose Gold, they had all these little scuffs on them, and even some spots on the white band that appeared to be dirty (you can see this in the photos). So I returned those and got another pair of Rose Gold. Same situation. I tried to get the dirt on the white bit off with a bleach wipe and then with acetone but nothing completely removed it. Frankly I've bought and returned about 4 pairs of headphones now so I'm just going to keep these because they work fine, but be warned that for some reason the Rose Gold may not look as pristine as you might like. Also it did seem a little dirty in places -- maybe this sort of stuff wasn't noticeable on the black because of the color, but I would recommend cleaning these headphones off with a clorox wipe or something before use.
-Touchpad works well and makes changing songs, adjusting volume, etc. pretty easy
-Remaining battery is indicated by little lights above the power switch
-Comes with an awesome case (which for some reason isn't mentioned in the description)
-Headphones can be adjusted in many different ways (many of which I don't really understand but hey, it's there if you need it)
-Really good range, I can walk around most of my house without losing connection
-For some reason, while connected to PC, they start at MAX volume when they turn on and you can't turn it down on the headphones until after you've pressed "play" on YouTube, Spotify, etc. You can turn it down on the computer however. Just be warned that when you first turn them on you could very well deafen yourself if you don't first turn down the volume.
-They're pretty tight when they first come out of the box (I believe this will loosen up with wear, but I just thought I should mention it)
-They aren't especially cool looking, but they aren't unattractive either. They're just plain black headphones -- if you're looking for something flashy, they probably aren't for you.
-You have to be careful when adjusting them on your head or you may accidentally turn up the volume, change song, etc. However, the touchpad does go to "sleep" eventually to help avoid this issue.
This is my father's account (he still has prime which is why I used his to get these headphones) but I wanted to write the review here so that people would know I am a verified purchaser and this review is real.
I JUST got these today so this review is my first impressions. I will update it if my feelings about the product change.
These headphones have a lot of really nice features. On the right ear is a touch pad which allows you to control volume, play/pause, etc. It's easy to use and actually works pretty well. Honestly it is quite an upgrade from the lower priced headphones from the same company... the controls on those were a nightmare. Honestly, unless you want an FM radio and micro SD card (and a cooler design), you'd be better off paying ~7$ more for better quality headphones.
That's all I'll say for now as I think I covered most of it in the pros and cons.
