The manual that comes with the unit is SO tiny that 3 different adults were unable to read it. We spent an hour trying to find a downloadable PDF version of the manual. No luck.
We summoned two teenagers.
They, too, had great difficulty reading the tiny manual. Convinced that the adults were clueless, they also attempted to locate a PDF version of the manual online. The teenagers were forced to admit that we were correct and that no online PDF existed. Score 1 for the adults.
The teenagers attempted to pair the tracker to a Samsung S8 cellphone per the bizarrely written tiny manual.
The irritated teens then tried pair the tracker to a brand new Samsung S9.
Again, no luck.
After a long, long lecture about why the iPhone is better than Android phones, the, now, VERY irritated teens attempted to pair the tracker to their own iPhone 8s. Both attempts failed.
It's not an Android problem.
Score: teens 0, adults 2
The annoyed teens departed having declared the tracker to be worthless.
The adults, unconvinced, wasted another 2 hours attempting to examine the tiny manual though a magnifying glass, scour the internet for assistance (none is available), and retry pairing the tracker to any of our three phones.
Still no luck.
The three present adults are pretty tech-savvy people. We've got ALL the toys. None of us have ever had this much trouble getting anything to work.
The teens can be considered experts with anything digital. They proclaimed the tracker worthless and "lame."
The adults, after a total of 5 hours of wasted effort, agree.
A waste of money. An even bigger waste of time.
