Good Engineering - Lousy implementation
on August 31, 2018
The product works as advertised. That said it is a useless mop and exceedingly over priced.
The mop is inconvenient to store and use. A Swifter is more convenient. The reviewed mop picks up more water than a swifter. However, the mop head holds little water, such that it is useless for moderate to large jobs. The mop head material is sparse and does not absorb water well.
It is best used for tiny spills and small jobs. The bucket and mop take up an inordinate amount of space for the small effective area that it is useful for. The mop heads are pricy.
The only good thing that can be said of the unit is the efficiency of the mop wringing out technology. If the unit and mop were large both would be excellent and effective for cleaning. However, the mop and unit are to small to serve any useful purpose. The mop shaft is light weight and will fail with little pressure exercised on it.
The twist mop was an absolute waste of my money.
It should be priced at something like $15 versus the $49 it is sold for. The mop heads were a waste of $15. I disposed of the packaging, so returning the products is not possible. I put all the times in the trash. I have a large house. Filing space with useless items makes keeping them even more negative than taking the loss.
Buy something more readily storable. If you have space issues like in an apartment, buy a Swifter. Buy a standard large bucket and large mop, if you have the storage space and have big areas to clean.
