I love Som Bathla’s books. They are well written, well researched, and always interesting.

I love the examples he used to build self discipline. I’ll be rereading this book again and again.

No beating around the bush, straight to the point, this book takes about self-discipline with much scientific approach, which I didn’t fine in other books. Not any motivational preachy tone, rather clear arguments to support the discussion. Liked the way author covers so much in this short book. value for money and saves time too. A good read.

I really appreciate and enjoyed this superb book. The book is very well researched and well written. This book is essential reading for everyone. This book is very interesting and insightful on the topic of self discipline..I am impressed how the author synthesizes current cutting edge social science research into the book. Great value! lf-discipline is something that I have been interested in, quite some time now. Frankly, this book tries to address most common issues about lack of self discipline and ways to handle effectively. I was amazed to see the research about human psychology on self-discipline covered in the book.
It was intriguing to know how humans behave so irrationally when they are in the trap of instant gratification. The habits to build willpower supported by scientific evidence, I found helpful and practical to implement. The section about mental toughness of Navy SEALs provided good insights about developing greater self-control. All in all, I found the book engaging from start to end, and served me with good advice to work upon.

This is a very good book, I really liked this book! This book gives me the important skills and knowledge to live a more positive life. I am going to have a more positive attitude in life and I now know that present failure and frustration can help to attain later success. This book can make me get great progress and success in my future. I highly recommend this book!

I find this book touching the topic of self-discipline with a holistic perspective. While it explains why we give into our temptations, and how willpower is a limited resources to be safeguarded. It also provides solutions to boost our self-control. I liked the section on making your future-self as your friend to overcome the impulse of instant gratification. The facts, statistics and science based research are the most interesting aspect of this book. Well researched, well written and practical handbook for self-mastery.

This has to be the most poorly written book I've read in a very long time. The grammar is so bad I kept losing focus. I went back to look at the reviews because I was wondering how in the world it received 5 stars. The reviews are just as poorly written and half of them make no sense. As hard as I tried, I just couldn't get past page 30. I will be returning this book and will not be buying any others by this "author".
