I think what really intrigued me about investing in a sous vide is when we recently had dinner with the family. My sister and her husband brought over a fish still in the bag and it was definitely interesting and different upon first glance, the way it is packaged and the process. However, when we first took our first bites into the fish, the infusion of flavor and ingredients with the machine and the explosion of flavor for us really left us in shock and awe. I've tasted plenty of fish through my lifetime. But this was on a whole other level. The fish was so tender and flavorful and the only differentiating reason was because of this magical item.

The precision cooking capabilities and what makes it more innovative is that this includes wifi and or bluetooth compatibility so that you can connect it with an app on your phone or tablet. I'm really a newbie when it comes to cooking and my fiance is the one that is the specialist cook in the family and she was ecastic to perfect this machine since she has used it in the past at friends homes but have never owned one personally. The cooking chart in comparison is fairly accurate in terms of the timing and temperature for the following items that we cooked, which were salmon, chicken thigh, and filet mignon steak. 

You could tell the brightness and freshness of the end result for the different meats we cooked compared to when we would cook on the stove top. I think the one factor we have trouble in controlling is balanced and even cooking throughout all parts of the meat, so some areas would be overcooked or less than medium rare (beef). By being able to connect to the app, you are able to track the progress of the cooking process, so that you can be notified if you are in a different room that the meat is ready. The device and its various functions is really user friendly whether your a beginner, intermediate or advanced chef. Choose your protein and follow the detailed instructional recipes.

The creativity in your food choices and being able to create a succulent and juicy piece of meat with all the locked in flavors is enabled by this creation. The circulation technology to be able to cook the meats evenly in water and the appeal is the ease of use. The touch sensors are accurate and activate seamlessly, with the clamp to be able to attach to practically any container.

Overall, I think our favorite meals to create are fish related because we are trying to eat red meats less and the health benefits of fish seems to attract us to maintain a better lifestyle. And after trying it out for lunch and dinner for almost a week, we really feel that it's our favorite cooking device to use in the kitchen.

This item was very user friendly, the user manual was easy to understand. My first sous vide and I was pretty excited. Cooked my first steak with this product, and it exceeded my expectations. Moist and evenly cooked. Tasted delicious! My kids loved it, and they aren't big meat eaters.

I bought the RJ39-WiFi model and the BlueTooth/WiFi Indicator never came on. No instructions in the manual how to troubleshoot the issue, no way to reset device, etc. I plugged it in and unplugged it several times and it never launched. The app therefore was not able to connect because the cooker never broadcast a signal. Don't call Customer Service, it's a useless waste of time because the phone representative is primarily responsible for recording new claims. No technical person is available for support. I put in back in the box and returned it. And the cooker is huge! For those of you who own it and have working units, look at the user manual - Precision is misspelled as "Presicion".

I have used 2 brands of sous vides before, and even gave some out as a present. The one downside to them was that they were not Bluetooth sous vides or wife sous vides. It wasn't practical to use when I needed it to turn on when I wasn't home.

This sous vide from Chefman has the wifi and Bluetooth, so I figured I might as well try it out. I downloaded their app, and paired up my phone to the sous vide, and was able to choose how I wanted the steak to cook, either based on a specific temperature or to choose from a variety of levels cooked on the app.

It came out delicious, just don't forget to pan seared it afterwords for the color.

As recommended from my friends, so I give this Sous Vide a try, I am so happy with this product. Very fast shipping and very nice package! It comes a recipe book, which tell you the time and temperature,you just need to follow. Very detailed user manual! And this unit has WiFi functions which is easy set up with my iPhone and so easy to control the temperature and time trough the app. So all you need to do is plug it in,and you can start cooking at anywhere at your house. Try on the beef and chicken, all of them come out the way I expected, very tender and juicy! Delicious! This is very smart idea of cooking, healthy,natural and Lazy!

I purchased this item because after watching a lot of sous vide YouTube videos, I decided to kick up my cooking skills a notch and give this a try.

Chefman sous vide machine was awesome. Easy to unbox and start using without issues.
This unit is the stronger 1100watt vs other 800watt machines.
The chefman app was very easy to use too. The Bluetooth connected instantly. However the WiFi took many tries, not sure why. I discounted Bluetooth a few times and the. It finally connected both. On the unit, blue WiFi wave thing is Bluetooth. When it’s white that’s WiFi connection.

The unit seems to be quality built. Fit and finish is very good. The clamp seems strong and did stay, my big pot didn’t seem big enough. So I clamped the unit a little higher on pot so that I can have more water inside the pot.

I’ll try and post more pics.

So far I love this unit!

Tip: fill the water half to max, once you add stuff in the water line will rise close to max. The machine seems quieter when water line is near max.

I used the immersion circulator, with green beans, for the first time, and I'm happy with it. I had bought an airfryer awhile back, and I use it daily, so my friend recommended I looked into trying an immersion circulator. After using this one, I'm happy I took his advice. I was skeptical as to how well the bluetooth would pair and work with the machine, but it worked well overall. I was happy to see there were recommended cook times on the app, because I would have had no clue how long to cook the green beans. The circulator cooked the green beans but didn't make them soggy (like they would be in a pan) or crunchy on the outside (like they would be in an airfryer.) All in all, when it comes to the air fryer vs. immersion circulator debate, I would personally lean towards the circulator, because I like the texture of the food after it's been cooked in it.

I have been hearing about this devices for such a long time, and i was always interested, but i was afraid it wasnt gonna work right, im not gonna liw, i thought "boiling" food was gonna make my food terrible, but i was so wrong, this thing is one of the best investments i have done in my kitchen! i only used it twice, once with carrots and another one with chicken, this keeps the flavor of food and its like trying a new spectrum of flavor, the chefman works as intended with bluetooth but i didnt try the wifi yet, i would recommend to eventually get a sous vide container for the water and get some clips, i had a hard time keeping the food to stay submerged. all in all, i really like this and you will too!

I have been hearing about how great a sous vide steak is vs grilling or frying. I must say, this machine takes the guesswork out of trying to cook a perfect medium rare steak and makes it very easy. FYI, you need to plan ahead and have enough time for your food to come to the exact temperature. This is not for people that want to come home and grill a steak right away, but the wait is worth it. My steaks come out tender and juicy and perfectly cooked every single time. The unit is fairly easy to use. I recommend having a vacuum sealer to go along with this sous vide machine for best results.

Used it for the first time this weekend to make steaks. Tested 4 different kinds of steak, marinated differently. To get a perfect medium rare, we set the temperature to rare (126 degrees). This is because the charring of the steaks are done in a open flame grill. Steaks turned out almost exactly as expected. The steaks are also more tender than just grilling. Very happy with this purchase.
