Both my daughter and I were very disappointed with this kit. The activity book is 2.5" x 3.5". It is tiny. You get the tiny activity book, one page to color, and maybe 10 sticker sheets. And the markers and crayons but o didn't buy the little those. Overall I think this is very overpriced for what you actually get. And for a five year-old to be disappointed too says something.

First I have to say that, until recently, I hadn’t even heard of LOL. (Laughing Out Loud?) No, it actually means “Lil Outrageous Littles” and, according to Google they live in a world in which babies run the show. Now, I’ve heard of it and I still don’t get it—not much potential for story lines but my granddaughter and her friends think they’re fun.

I was surprised how much she knew of their culture--she knew names and phrases each is associated with, and much more. I am amazed and slightly disgusted. Unlike My Little Pony, Peppa Pig and other characters, these have no "virtues" or lessons to teach. They just are. They are these rather unattractive big-eyed dolls with, as far as I can tell, they get their popularity from youtube videos and word of mouth among kindergarteners and below. The suggested age range of 5 to 15 years is ludicrous.

This kit has three cardboard dolls, a very mini activity book that is fairly useless, a ton of stickers of various sizes which are only in proportion to the other stickers on that page. There is no sticker book in the sense of a book with a surface on which stickers can be placed for later removal--a must when you're talking about hundreds of stickers. (I had to cut a piece of freezer wrap so she could place and remove stickers.)

I cannot overemphasize the low-quality filler material. Even the crayons and markers are substandard. The markers are not marked "washable". The crayons are small and flat at both ends. The only two things that this kit has that my granddaughter had not been introduced to were scratch paper (black with yet another baby revealed when you scratch it off) and a stick to use on it, and stencils to trace which is a new activity. Neither of these was of great quality but they, at least, were original.

My granddaughter’s eyes lit up when I gave her the kit just seeing the LOL branding and she has played with it for a long while, but not long enough to justify the price, frankly. It has no educational value whatsoever; it’s basically just stickers with crummy supplies.

I’m very glad that I got the kit for free in exchange for a frank review because, if I had spent $12.97 on it, I would be very upset.

I'd be giving this three stars if my 4 year old didn't like it so much, but she absolutely loves it and since it's for her I can't deduct more than a star. The reason I'm deducting a star? You don't really get a whole lot of bang for your buck. They really need to put more into this kit. You get a very small (very very small) activity book, one page for coloring and a bunch of stickers as well as markers and crayons. Personally I think the marker and crayons were way below standard in terms of quality. However, my 4 year old adored coloring and fell in love with the stickers. I think I could have just bought her a small cheap notebook and a bunch of stickers and she'd have been just as happy, but she does carry the book around like it's a private diary she's afraid someone will read. She even hides it under her bed at night.

The stickers - decent quality and you get a lot of them. If your child is anything like my daughter and you don't have a CONSTANT eye on him or her when they have the stickers, you'll end up like me, puling stickers off of furniture and walls. Honestly I think if the book was bigger and it came with more paper I wouldn't have had the problem of her putting the stickers elsewhere but I guess when she felt she had enough on the pages it was time to decorate the house with them. Fortunately they weren't too hard to remove.

Overall, it's not a bad set, although it's like something I'd expect to find at one of those discount general stores. While I find it lacking my 4 year old fell in love with it at first sight and she's still carrying that little activity book around with her wherever she goes. So for the hit it made with her I'm giving it 4 stars. I have to deduct one for how the kit seems to be lacking. It's a great concept. I just think they could have executed it much better in terms of what to include.

While this left quiet a bit to be desired by myself - my children had fun with it and in the end that is what matters. I felt as though there could have been more dolls to put the stickers on or at least more options for clothing over what those three dolls are pictured in on the little note pad. There are a lot of stickers and no where to put them - I ended up pulling 4 sheets and the circle note pad of stickers off to the side to keep for a later activity. I also pulled the scratch art off to the side and the plastic scratcher for later - this is an outside activity because it is quiet messy.

The paper dolls are cute and unique looking. My children really enjoyed putting their clothes on them and adding accessories to suite their individual personalities.

The stencils were really horrible thin quality paper and did not work out that well.

The doodle poster is not a poster size but rather a regular 8x11 size - it was colored in a few minutes.

The crayons are interesting as they have no point - the markers were bold but as you can see they are quiet small and a few of them ended up running out by the end of the night. The point on the markers is firm and not all smooshy - loved this!

While this is not a bad set, it could have been a lot more awesome with a bit more thought.

Overall Grade - B

Stylin' Studio? More like just a bunch of stickers and a few pieces of paper. My 7 year old ADORES L.O.L. dolls and it's all she talks about these days. She watches YouTube videos on new product releases for L.O.L. stuff and knows all about it, or at least it feels she does.

This set looks cute at first glance, but once completely unboxed, it's really just an underwhelming amount of papers and stickers. The crayons are pointless, they are about the size of a Crayola snapped in half, neither end is pointed. The markers are incredibly cheap and worthless. There is no surprise accessory or dolls included. Nothing fun to unwrap. The booklet is cheap and flimsy.

Overall, I'm just very unimpressed, with the quality, content, and the price. Save your money, and if your kid HAS to have an L.O.L. product, just buy the real thing (the balls/dolls) and skip on this sticker heavy "Stylin' Studio" set.

My five year-old grandson got excited about this because I wanted him to make my son's new girlfriend a gift. See, this girl has been dating my son for several months. She doesn't have kids but has lots of tattoos and kind of punk. She does, however, love my grandson like he was her own. Since my grandson has become very attached to her, I told him we were going to make her a present and then I showed him the kit. He was very excited and we spent about 90 minutes working on a doll and a sticker drawing for her. There are tons of stickers and we had to pick out just the right ones. (Puppies rule).

The $18 price is a little high for all it is, but it was really hot and humid outside. Until it cooled off and we could play outside, we had fun doing this instead of watching TV. It was quality time and we had a nice talk.

I have a 6 year old who is obsessed with LOL dolls! We buy the dolls, she watches people playing with them on youtube, she is just obsessed! So I thought this would be a great little gift to give her. For the price of $19 which is original price. Not worth it, but I seen amazon have it on sale for $12 and I think that is a better price for this and would have given it more stars if that was the original price.
Full size crayons would have been better, markers just ok. My girl loved coloring the picture tho and has it hanging in her room and she had a blast with the stickers.
If they would include a lol doll in here, then it would be worth the 19$

I personally still don't get the whole LOL craze but then again I'm sure my parents didn't understand some of the things I was into. This overall was meh... It's got quite a few little stickers but everything in this set is tiny including the little activity book.

I have two kids that I thought this would keep busy for a lot longer than it did. They enjoy stickers and put them and other sticker books that they already have. 1 coloring sheet and the three little paper dolls didn't offer much of a variety. I would not consider this a great value but I did keep my children busy for 10-ish minutes.
