Right out of the box, this device was easy to set up. My wife and I both easily connected it to our phones to use the parental controls.

As the father of a curious 8 year old, I love all the features on the Tanoshi. It has all the parental controls pre-loaded along with age appropriate software. I don't have to worry about her accessing things she shouldn't, and I can monitor her and also set limits for her screen time. I can control both the amount of screen time and the time of day she is allowed to use this device.

Our daughter is learning to code on the pre-installed software and loves the game interface while she learns.

The hardware seems well-built and sturdy. The design is simple and easy to use.

Now I don't have to worry about my daughter using and breaking my laptop or accessing something on the internet she shouldn't.

Safe, fun, easy to setup and use and educational. It has many popular apps such as DOCS, Sheets, Drive, YouTube kids, Earth, Maps, Gmail etc. The Parental controls for kids under 13 allow parents to approve apps before installs and allow parents to monitor and control screen time. Coding apps such as Scratch Jr and Nancy Drew are included. 6 hour Battery life allows for extended use after school. Lightweight but has a big screen and a kids keyboard. Great pricing for the 6 to 12 year age group!Tanoshi 2-in-1 Computer for Kids ages 6-12, 10.1" HD Display, Detachable Keyboard, 32 GB (Pink)

Finally, an Android based kid friendly laptop/tablet that gives me peace of mind that my kids are *safe* exploring the internet and applications! I'm happy that I can control screen time, apps, and websites in almost real time, approving or denying permission from my phone. Future buyers of Tanoshi: It is critical that you install the "Family Link" app from google on your smartphone so that you can monitor your child's activities.

I purchased two Tanoshi computers for my granddaughters earlier, they really enjoyed them. Their 4 year old brother uses the computers when they are in school, so I purchased a third computer for him. The family is happy with these computers!

The perfect kids computer! Also when I had questions the companies customer service was excellent! I could not be happier with having purchased this for my almost 9 year old daughter.

We received the computer today and I was excited for my daughter to have it; and finally something that would keep her off of my phone. I had researched this vs the Amazon tablet and for the features we wanted and the all positive reviews this seemed like the better option. Packaging was fine. They can do better on the instructions it is one cardstock vs a book. When I went to setup the computer for my daughter it ask for stay the same of fresh start and I clicked fresh start and it would go back to the home screen with the circle (the loading circle) and proceed to ask me the same question. I then selected the top for it to stay the same and save apps and it did the same thing. No matter the option it would revert back to the home screen that reads Tanoshi. Also the computer did not boot very fast as other customers has indicated it did. I will be returning and will not be ordering a new one, the price has went up from the day we purchased (2 days ago). Not a happy camper.

Our daughter has one of these and it's fantastic. It's got a sturdy build quality that means we can let her take it anywhere, good battery life, and a keyboard that's sized for little fingers. That's important, because we want her to learn to touch-type as soon as possible. It started up quickly and had minimal setup - she was using it five minutes after we opened the box.

We couldn't be more pleased with it, and the built-in educational software is a huge help for us.

Fantastic kids computer and detachable tablet. Really like the parental controls that come with it where I can monitor screen time and apps. Make me feel more secure on what my son is doing on the tablet. Sturdy build. I see the as the perfect computer for 3 to 10 year olds, and has the all the educational software as well as access to the entire android playstore so I downloaded other apps which was great! My son just loves it.

Love this product. My son is 5 (so a little younger than the recommended age) but has really taken an interest in learning how to operate the keyboard! Pretty excited that he's been self-motivated to figure out typing! Great that the tablet separates and he can use that on its own as well.
The Tanoshi team has been really responsive too when I've asked them for assistance via their website.

My 11 year old twins love their Tanoshi 2-in1. I so wish we had these when they were younger. I love that they request an app to download, and I can approve it from my phone. (This can be changed, but I like seeing what they want to use/play.) I've also set up time limits, which I love. Less reminders from me! And it is super easy to do!
