I don't have a preference between Energizer and Duracell AA batteries. Two batteries last about 7 weeks in my Trackpad and about 6 months in my Apple wireless keyboard. Duracell always used to cost less, but recently I am finding more good deals on Energizer. This 48-pack was one of those deals. A lot of batteries and a lot of packaging. The outside box is of corrugated cardboard. Inside are two black paperboard boxes with 24 batteries each. The batteries are packaged in little boxes of four inside the black boxes. The batteries I received (ordered 24 March 2018) have an expiration date of 12-2027. These were sold and shipped by Amazon. I NEVER order batteries sold by a third-party seller, as there are so many counterfeit and old batteries sold on Amazon by third-party sellers. Check the "sold by" and "ships from" underneath the price on the product page.

It comes in a brown box with 2 long black boxes each with 24 batteries. when you open a box each have 6 smaller boxes which hold 4 batteries each. So Both box end up with 12 boxes each with a set of 4 batteries. I uses 2 boxes 8 batteries and replace the batteries in 3 mouses and a keyboard. so far so good. I plan to buy a box of AAA's next because my Fire TV eats batteries. It seems like every 6 months I am replacing them.

We have tried Duracell and Kirkland/Costco batteries, but they often leaked and ruined the kids electronics that they were inside. Probably due to our salty humid environment where we live. The savings of using those other brands wasn't worth it. These Energizer batteries are the best if you have leak problems. Once in a while one will still go bad, but the acid doesn't leak out and ruin the electronics, which is important.

I use a lot of AA batteries. For me personally, I have found Energizer lasts longer than other brands. This is a good deal. I used to wait for them to go on sale at Home Depot or Lowe's, but this is a good deal and I don't need to wait for a sale.

Energizer batteries... not much to review aside from the price. Can’t really beat this price. Always good to have them around and I like to buy in bulk so we never run out. This is the best price I’ve ever found. I don’t like to buy any other brand except for the other major brand. These are usually the least expensive of the two

Excellent price per battery. Freshness date on batteries is 2028, ten years out from the date of this review (2018). When we lose power due to storms it can stay out for a very long time, so having a large supply of batteries is essential. With this bulk pack we have enough to share with neighbors.

Normally, I buy the Rayovac batteries at Walmart to try to save some money. Based on the volume of batteries, these turned out to be cheaper and they are Energizer. When I open the battery box up, instead of being a bunch of lose batteries, they were boxed separated into 4 batteries per smaller box. The way may son goes through batteries on the xbox, this will be a Christmas present.

I have had less leakage with the Energizer batteries. Only a couple of times but they were old batteries. I have lost over 30 items due to leakage from Duracell and Kirkland batteries way before their due dates. These also last the longest.

I just got these batteries 8/17/2018 so I havn't had a chance to use them yet, but I can say they look good and they don't expire until 2028. It's a good deal for the amount of batteries you get. It's a lot less expensive than buying them at a store. They look like the real deal, ... Energizers!

There is nothing like a remote out of charge and you can not turn the TV on, volume, or anything its amazing that they came fast and I now have a TV again. I know I could have gone to the store but here is the thing so much more for the price and I am all about savings. thank you.
