My reviews for this box set copied from the books I’ve read individually.
Book One- Winning Ace
What can I say about this book? Except WOW! Whilst I was reading it I was thinking this surely can't be the author's debut novel, but it blooming well is.
Tracie has crafted a a stunning contemporary romance (not a sweet, heart and flowers romance, so be warned.) Right from the very first page I was plunged into the novel that centres around Tally and Cash's relationship. It's definitely a feisty, almost confrontational one at times. Raw emotions are expressed through Tracie's incredible narration. I don't think I've ever read a book as quickly as I read this one.
Every character was beautifully, and skilfully portrayed. And the dialogue, which is often the hardest part for authors just starting out to get right, was flawless.
Yes, the book ends on a cliffhanger and I might have sworn a little when I realised I'd reached the end, but the second book in this trilogy will be out in a few months and I just can't wait.
Don't take my word for it. Be sure to grab your copy today, you'll be thanking me for the recommendation I guarantee it.
Book Two - Losing Game.
Wow... what more can I say about the second book in this series.
I absolutely love Tally and Cash and the traumatic relationship they have to endure. There are so many outside influences that seem intent on destroying this happy bond, but mostly these guys stick together and overcome everything that is thrown in their path... or do they?
Cash is determined to win Tally back after a misunderstanding tore them apart. Can they ever rekindle the desire that threw them together in the first place?
Tally is a shadow of her former self while they are parted, one day Cash turns up on her doorstep and is forced to divulge a secret he's kept from the world for donkey's years, but will this be enough to win Tally back? Tally has an emotional rollercoaster ride to endure before that can happen.
This is the first of many challenges ahead of them in this awesome sequel, one that I devoured in a matter of days. I laughed and cried my way through this book and I think you will too.
Definitely looking forward to reading the final episode in the stunning, tension-filled series.
Book Three - Grand Slam
Oh heck, I had to delay writing my review for a few days to allow my emotions to settle. What a fab end to a knicker-gripping trilogy by this wonderful author.
I thought the first two books were outstanding but this one definitely tops them all. Cash and Tally's story is one that I definitely won't forget in a hurry, that's for sure.
I really don't want to give any of the plot away because it wouldn't be fair to the readers. Suffice it to say that I'll be urging Tracie to write a few more short stories in this series, if only to keep me happy.
Congratulations on finding a winning formula in which you've engaged your readers and left them wanting more of these fabulous characters.
What a roller coaster ride of emotions this series took me on.
Tally is a journalist and has followed the tennis star Cash Gallager since she was a teen. Her first crush, when she has the chance to go to a benefit he is hosting she jumps at the chance. Cash hates journalists, he is a renowned playboy, and has a type. Tally is so not his type, but the second he lays eyes on her, he can't stop watching her or get her out of his head. When she publishes an article about him he is beyond angry. What starts as anger, though, quickly turns into a deep attraction, the fact that she turns him down only stokes the fires higher. And that's just the first few chapters!
The rest of the series takes us, the reader, on the ups and downs of their relationship as they seek to figure out if they really can have a relationship. Or if either of them deserve a happily ever after. Tally's capacity for love and forgiveness astounds and inspires me. Cash's fierce and raw emotions draw you in. I laughed, I cried, I cheered, I railed. To say I ran the gamut of emotion as I read all 3 off these books is a gross understatement. I loved them!
Brilliant read loved all three....... I have just read this amazing book and im left knowing I'm jumping straight into book two (Losing Game). Book one is sooooo good it kept me in it the whole time, poor Tally and poor Cash..... I found myself shouting at him to talk to her..... Beautiful Romance novel, well worth reading. I am now hooked on Tracie Delaney's books... Here comes book two...... O no I've just finished book two The losing game...... I'm left shocked and my heart hurts so much for Tally and Cash....I really hoped and willed but things don't always go how you hoped...And trust me I prayed too.... Without a doubt Tracie Delaney is a brilliant author, trust me I'm a fan whole heartedly. This book seems so so real. Life can throw you a curve ball, let's hope the next book will stick my heart pack together...... This series is AMAZING well worth anyone giving it ago . If you don't normally read a romance because you don't like sloppy. I PROMISE YOU this has grit deep to the core.... I'm going straight into book three GRAM SLAM........ Wow wow wow......What an amazing book in a fantastic series..(you can get it in a box set). I loved it so so much I'm hooked totally hooked only down side is I've finished it..... Had lumps in my throat with be beaming smiles. You should be very proud Tracie Delaney I read over seven hundred books and you are one I won't forget. Can't wait to read young next books.......
That's exactly how I like my romances! A great plot and awesome writing that captures the reader's attention. Expect to be glued to the pages because this story won't let you off the hook so easily.
Cash and Tally were refreshing characters because they were everyday kind of people - as far as this was possible with him being a famous tennis player - but still, I loved it because he could afford a lot but worked hard and it was more believable and realistic than lots of those other billionaire stories I've read.
I liked that Cash wasn't untouchable and that he was human enough to have problems and secrets he wasn't open to share. Both characters had problems to work through, mostly because of his fame and his closed-offness regarding his family and stuff but it was perfectly written which made this series unputdownable.
Secrets, palpable sexual tension, heartbreak, love, pain, jealousy ridden problems and lots of sweet moments await you in this box set. It's highly addictive so pick up this great read and enjoy.
I love this series. Cash and Tally are so hot, they're on fire. And their growth together as a couple is amazing to watch unfold. The combination of twists and turns, burning passion, and real-life issues, make for a very entertaining read. I can't recommend it enough.
It all starts with a reporter on a mission and a tennis pro who loathes the press. What happens when Tally accidentally tricks Cash into revealing some of his secrets, then publishes them for the world to read? I'll tell you: A sensual romance unfolds featuring a very pissed off dominant male who can't seem to keep his hands off of the equally fiery female. So much fun!
The complete collection will take you through the range of both romantic and human emotions. Love tennis? Got you covered. Want spice & a little steam? Yep, got that too. This is a must-read series for sports romance fans. I’m one of those now!
In the words of the main male character, Cash, ' I "effing" LOVED this story'. The only negative thing to say, is that it had to end. The characters and story flowed so well. There are highs and lows and alot of real life issues that make this a great read. This is one I will go back and read again...soon!!!
So many struggles in each individual character. Haunted pasts and secrets to be overcome. Yet all surmountable if only each person is working together. Oh yes, jets, fast cars, fancy settings and paparazzi. Explicit passion too.
