Wow! First of all, I was skeptical. A mattress sight unseen, untested, and the low price! I wanted this for our guest room, so i decided to give it a try. I was impressed with the delivery packaging. It was dropped to my doorstep in a long rectangular box. Heavy, but easy to maneuver to desired room where we unpacked it and it slowly burst open 'Incredible Hulk' style then it was easy to place. Directions recommend allowing 2-3 hours to fully expand into place. Immediately though, my husband and I laid on it and were so impressed with its' instant recognizable comfort. It is noted as a medium to firm mattress. This is true, but in every way good. The pillow top is soft and heavenly and then the firmness found beneath it takes care of the rest of all your comfort needs. Whether you are a back, side, or stomach sleeper, this mattress appeals to all. The negative spaces of your body (curves) are filled in by the topper. This mattress is very relaxing and comfortable. It filled in every body space so well that a pillow is not even needed unless you prefer it. I would choose this over my costly master bedroom Tempur-pedic. Great for any room you choose.
When I received this mattress it was in a box that was the width of the mattress, in my case it was a queen size, so it was slightly taller than me (I'm 5'7"), it was very heavy, but I was able to tip and drag it to my bedroom by myself, as the box was only about 18" x 18". The mattress was tightly rolled up and encased in plastic wrap, and once exposed to air it became very thick very quickly. It is a very pretty, though unremarkable mattress once it "inflates" to its size, and much harder to maneuver. Again, as a single female it was difficult for me to set my bed and mattress up by myself, but not impossible. Some history on me - I am a belly sleeper and prefer a firm mattress, I had previously had and loved a BeautyRest Ultrafirm pillowtop bed. More recently I had "upgraded" to a memory foam mattress, but it was too soft. Sadly, this firm mattress was too firm for me. After having slept on it for a couple of weeks and still finding myself to be sore I invested in a soft mattress topper and this seems to be the combination that I need.
5/5! I still can’t believe that this mattress was only 310 bucks! I definitely did not think it would be this supportive and comfortable at such a low price, but it is. What a difference from our old spring mattress we were used to! We woke up in the morning with zero aches (a first for us in a while)! If you like a supportive mattress and aren’t wanting to shell out big bucks, then I’d definitely recommend this bargain of a mattress! If you were wondering how it arrives to your door, ours was tightly rolled up like you see in the picture.
First off the mattress arrived early and I was so impressed with the packaging. It came in a long box, that I maneuvered to the bedroom by myself and unwrapped it and set up within minutes. We bought this mattress for our guest bedroom. I am kind of a bedding snob so, I researched and researched. I love that this mattress has the best of both worlds, with the coils and the memory foam on the top. I wasn't dissapointed when I laid on the mattress. I wanted to know for myself what our guests were sleeping on and to confirm that it was a comfortable nights sleep. Honestly I was more than impressed. I am a stomach sleeper and I felt the memory foam conform to my body. 7 1/2 inches of coils and 2 1/2 inches of memory foam really is a recipe for an awesome mattress at a incredible price point.
As 20 year bonafide bed snobs, we’ve done a ton of research and elected to try this mattress after reading the reviews. In the past we’ve always elected to purchase high end mattresses because we fully understand the value of quality sleep. Our previous mattress (which is now occupies the guest room) was a $1500 Posturepedic Euro Top. To be blunt, we felt dirty purchasing such an inexpensive mattress. After all, how could a $400 mattress outperform a “superior” product? Well as it turns out, the $400 mattress IS the “superior” product. Unbelievable!
I really don't know how the manufacturer managed to squeeze a hybrid coil spring/foam mattress into a roll for shipping, but I'm glad they did! Not only was it much easier to handle than a queen conventional mattress, but it's amazingly firm and comfortable. I just wish this mattress wold work on our adjustable bed... it's far more comfortable than the dual density foam mattress we're currently using. I envy the folks who will bed down in our guest room!
The Weekender is the perfect combination of coils and memory foam. If you are looking for a medium-firm mattress with very little smell, this is the mattress for you! We have never had a memory foam mattress and were worried about ordering one we had never laid on but this exceeded our expectations! I slept so comfortably and woke up feeling refreshed and pain free! You will not be disappointed with this soft, well made, and comfortable mattress!
After sleeping on this mattress I can not believe we got this for under 300 bucks! Nice beds at a mattress store are anywhere from 600+. This bed was very comfortable. For us we didn't think it was too hard, or too soft. Just a perfect balance. Packaging was also very condensed. Came in a vacuum sealed bag that didn't leave a huge bed like box on our doorstep. Once pulling it out of packaging it formed to its position and was great from there! Material is strong and durable. Not going to be one that rips or fades quick, seems like it will be able to last much longer.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good bed! Better than beds we had laid on just to test them out for a few minutes in stores I felt like as well.
Bought for my adult son with disabilities. He loves his new mattress. Came fast, packed well. Opened it on the bed and it poufed up to full height in a few hours. No odors or other issues. He’s had it a couple of months now and loves it.
