"It's called Financial Literacy, but its really just Money Smarts. Going Broke is No Joke covers a wide swath of real life encounters with money; acquiring it, spending it, investing it , and keeping track of it. You don't have to be a financial genius to understand and benefit from this book; chapter by chapter it navigates the reader through practical aspects of wise money management and pitfalls to avoid. It even has balanced advice for parents whose kids are struggling with debt or to live within their means- the good news is that you can help without fostering unhealthy financial dependencies, or basement dwellers who never leave the nest. Treat yourself to a crisp, readable and very rewarding tour of the personal finances terrain by picking up and reading Patrician Davis's latest guide to smart money management"

It won't take you long to realize that Patricia Davis understands the challenges that are before the far majority of her readers. Even if you find yourself thumbing through the book, it immediately shows a powerful articulation of how simple, consistent actions can, in time, actually turn things around. Or, if you're being proactive, it helps you avoid money pitfalls in the first place. Patricia's tips are written in plain English; they are succinct (you'll appreciate that part!) and they are practical. She helps readers make sense of the maze they may be in and identify the pathway forward.
