I am really impressed with this. I am an over the road truck driver and trucks are very rough riding. However, even with the small version of this magnetic mount, my phone (Samsung galaxy s4) always stays in place on the magnet. I use this for my 7 inch tablet too but it will sometimes come off the magnet as it is much larger and heavier than the phone is. However there are several larger versions of this product that would definitely hold the tablet just as securely. I really don't have any complaints. Even the sticky stuff that mounts this to my freightliners textured dashboard is excellent.

These are great, if you have awkward vents, or they would not be in a great spot, especially for the drivers - these stick on ones are the perfect alternative. Plus you don't have to worry about the magnet coming with your phone when you remove it to leave your vehicle, which tends to happen with the vent ones. Strong magnets, which is great. The vent ones are handy if you plan on renting a car as it is easy to pack with your chargers and then you have the GPS mount with you in the rental car. Not as optimal but it is better than getting lost and paying extra for the GPS package the rental company would charge.

Works well, but doesn’t stick to certain surfaces. Wish the attachment was also a bit longer so that although I have to attach to a certain part of my dash (not many options for my old car) it doesn’t obstruct view of clock or control of radio. See 2007 Rav4. iPhone6S Plus Works perfectly, though& i love not having to open a mount, insert phone, adjust accordingly before heading out in my car... Now i just get in my car, put my phone on the mount and i’m off.. pretty much just set it & forget it, so i loooove it. Just -1 star as i see room for some design improvement

YES!!!! works perfect and comes with plenty of magnets. Boyfriend used the large rectangle magnet directly on his otter box case, and I slipped the other large rectangular magnet inside the zippered card pouch on my iphone 6 case bc i didn’t think it would stick well to the faux leather material. my phone is pretty heavy with the case and it holds it SUPER well even with the magnet being inside the case. We put one in our nissan xterra and one in our honda civic. neither have detached after a couple weeks, phones haven’t fell off while driving, even with bumpy chicago roads. definitely super happy about these bc we were nervous to try magnet mounts. These work SO GOOD!!!!! BUY THEM!

By far the best magnetic phone/device holders/. The air vent ones are just not stable enough. I love how solid these feel. I also love how it comes with a few of those clear adhesive pads that one can put on their dashboard and know that it will safe to remove. Very cool.

If your car has a CD player in it, I highly recommend the one that fits in the CD player and a wing nut is opening the jaw inside the CD slot - thus creating a really tight fit,. I use the magnetic one on my desks and at work..

Great magnets for sure!!!

I really, really, really wanted to like this. The fact that this is a two pack was a nice bonus. The magnets are fairly strong and the company gives you extra adhesive stickers and magnetic adhesives. My biggest complaint which is the fact that I am not able to wirelessly charge my phone with the magnet attached to the back. As a way to get around that, I attached the magnet to the back of the actual case and have to remove the case all the time if I want to charge my phone wirelessly. Otherwise, this works great.

I don't know what they were thinking with this because it barely swivels in any direction except down. It maybe moves 10 degrees left and right, but you can angle it down to face the floorboards, almost! They must know that MOST people will need it to pivot to the left where the driver is seated. Also, my wireless charger does not work because of the large metal plate. My last magnetic holder didn't have a big plate like this one and didn't interfere with my wireless charging. To top it off, the adhesive is very strong, but they don't sufficiently clean their own product before applying it and it comes off the mounting plate, not your dash! BTW, the alcohol pad that came with it was dry as a bone.

Awesome product, strong hold, works great. I had tried the ones that secure at the vent. But those don't work well, as the vent pulls down due to the weight. I finally decided on this one after trying 3 others. I had to take it off and re position it because i didn't like where i put it initially. It takes a little effort to pull it off, but leaves no marks, bonus! I used the extra 3M adhesive tape that came with the box, and place it where i wanted it. I would buy more for other cars.

Great price for these things and they come with a set of spares for both mounts which is nice. The rectangular pad works great on my iPhone 6S Plus case and sticks well to the case. I used one mount for a Pyle 7" rear view monitor which has a steel bracket on the back and works great without having to use one of the included metal mounts. Neither the phone or screen fell off during my travels. I'll buy more of these for my other truck.

These are not the first ones I have bought. I have had one for a couple of years and like the permanent mount, the mag holds great no matter how rough the road is the phone stays put. This purchase was one for my wife's car and since putting it in she loves it as well. My only comment is I had to install upside down (meaning the little plastic catch for the cord is facing down) in order for me to get the correct angle so the phone is facing me directly both. The fords (explorer and escape) have a angled area to stick the base on and in order to over compensate that angle you get more "twist" by putting them upside down...
