Overall, I am very pleased. Fits nicely in the Rubbermaid 12 quart container. Easy to use. Durable.

This rack has it's pluses and minuses. Overall, I love it and would recommend it. I was going to buy the chrome/steel rack, but it is a little pricey, so at about half the price I tried this one. I wanted to use it several times before reviewing it so I could hopefully provide some info that might help others to know if this is the product they are looking for or not.
What I like: It is light weight and compact when not in use. It is plastic, so it is easy to clean and it doesn't rust or corrode in anyway. The base is fairly thin and doesn't take up a lot of vertical space in my cooking container. It fits nicely in my 12 quart Rubbermaid container, which is what I use most often to cook in. The racks are easily adjustable to different widths. No maintenance required, just rinse and dry after use. Durable, if used correctly.
What I don't like: It's light weight, which I also listed as a plus above, but in this case, it is a minus. If you have anything that floats - such as crab legs or the corned beef I made the other day, it is too light to hold the item down. This was easily corrected by vacuum bagging a 2lb lead shot weight that I use for SCUBA; the same could be done with a rock or anything small and heavy, but in any case, the metal rack would be heavy enough to not have this issue. The other negative is that the plastic racks could be broken if not handled properly when inserting or removing them from the base. It is easy enough to avoid a break by pressing only on the thicker areas, but the potential for a break is there, so I mentioned it.
Overall, I am extremely please with the rack and I would recommend this product to others.
