Perfect for both our iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X! The width of these is about the same as my hubby's iPhone 8 Plus. I was worried the thickness of the lip would not accommodate having a case on it, but it gives more than enough room with any thin or medium style case. Not sure if it would work well with a LifeProof or OtterBox case because those are pretty thick & boxy, and the lip on the stand is rounded... but it still might be doable. Some complain you can't plug in a cable for charging with these standing upright unless your device is set sideways, but these are not meant to be charger friendly (yet you can still charge it if you just reposition it). I especially like it with the iPhone X because my Face ID works great with it and unlocks my notifications without having to pick up the device to look over at it. Made from nice quality materials (even though it's plastic) and it's very durable. The back of the stand adjusts for different upright positions. Portable and easy to toss in your bag if you want to bring it along somewhere. Easy to clean off if it gets dirty. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a budget friendly stand... I got the two pack for me and the hubby. I would definitely buy these again!

It's a good product. You just pull the hinge out. I thought you had to press the button but you don't.

I don't understand why they can't make a device just like this, but only for smart phones. Such a device would be very portable. As it is, this device is 3" wide which is good enough to use for a small tablet.

I understand the marketing reason why they would want to make a 3" stand. The more uses you can get out of it, the more you will be able to sell. However, I think there is definitely a market for a smaller version of this stand, perhaps 1 1/2" or 2".

3" is just a little big for my pocket considering my phone and possibly my wallet will also be in there. A smaller device would be lighter and cheaper to boot since there will be less material.

I am very pleased with these adjustable cell phone stands! I bought them mainly so my tablet would have a larger stand than the cell phone stand I was using and find that I am happier with the second one for my cell phone than the one I currently use, also because of the wider size. They are sturdy and adjust easily. They do not slide around. And now I can use my old cell phone stand in another room w/o having to carry one with me back and forth.
I did get a cover for my tablet and use that when I'm in another room to stand the tablet at the right angle for working on it. But this stand I use to store it on and when I'm charging it, with no worries it will fall off.

I can never find my phone. It's someplace in the bed, under books, papers, wrapped in a blanket or even under the pillow. And Siri can't hear me when she's muffled under something. So I bought one for me and one for hubby. What I appreciate is that it does not slide and that it holds my iPhone 6s+ either portrait or landscape position. Reasonably priced and well made, you can adjust the width between the front holder and the back unit for just the right comfort and safety to hold your phone.

Pros: Simply, a user friendly design! Easy to operate and store! I can watch videos
at upright or more reclined angles.
Cons: None, however...upon first use, open gently to understand product limitations.

Use these little bad boys every night. They are not particularly well made but very practicle. Carry one with me in my backpack and leave one at home. Beats the hell out of propping my phone or tablet against a salt and pepper shaker.

It does what it says it will. It is made of plastic though I was expecting aluminum. I was shopping for them on Amazon so may have gotten this one confused with another item that I had looked at. The "click" mechanism is not sturdy and lifetime is in question. That being said I am satisfied with the purchase and consider it of value.

You can see the screen without holding it with my hand. You can adjust it to your favorite angle.

I bought this to replace a cheap phone stand that I received for free at a work seminar. I had never seen/used one before but had gotten used to it, so when the old stand broke I had to have a new one. These ones are great.....definitely worth $10. They are very sturdy and are just what I need for my desk at work. I like that there are two, just in case one breaks....although they are pretty sturdy so I'm not sure if I really need the backup. I may give the 2nd one as a gift to someone else I know could use it.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of these stands. My 8-9 year old use them to watch YouTube on their iPad mini’s. The fit is great! Would definitely buy again.
