When I first got the machine I thought it was very cool, it was the first craft cutter I have ever had. Unfortunately just over a year later the only thing I can see about this machine are it's flaws. Many of the movement parts are plastic, and wear out, what makes this bad is Silhouette does not sell these part, no replacement carriage, rollers, anything. The only replacements you can get are the blade and the cutting strip, anything else goes bad and your only option is to buy a new machine. It has never been able to cut the 10 feet that it claims, not even with the roll feeder (not included), it skews, wads up and jams, making many feet of destroyed vinyl. Lets not forget the outrageously priced store either, I didn't really realize they were ripping everyone off so bad until I looked at what 3D print files they were trying to sell, they are all very low poly and they want $10/each! If you have a windows 10 computer you already have most of the files they are trying to sell you in 3D Builder, and if it's not there, there's most likely and much higher quality version for free on thingiverse. Silhouette produce a very cheap, crappy machine and charges you premium for it, they take free files and make you pay for them, counting on your gullibility. I purchased 3 of these machines, 1 for me, my mom, and a friend, and I wish I would've waited and bought a real plotter, not this plastic unfixable junk.
