It didn’t work and damaged my devices.

I apparently received a faulty unit which I am returning. I used it with a Roku streaming device I was using on a video projector, planning to also feed a Sony TV. When routed thru the splitter, the projector reported “source not supported.” and so did the TV. The splitter changed or damaged the Roku HDMI output. Reconnecting to the projector w/o the splitter did not solve the problem. The damage to my device was permanent. Like a fool, I attempted to troubleshoot with a Blu-ray player. Same result. I’m out two source devices. Guessing the amplification is wired into the wrong side of the splitter. Neither device’s A-V output was damaged. Since originally posting the review, my Blu-ray has apparently recovered after leaving it powered down for several hours. Neither the factory reset button nor overnight power-down has recovered the Roku. Amazon & Zglon are working the issue.
