5 BEAUTIFUL PERFECT STARS!! This is one of my favorite books by Bella Andre, it is sweet, beautiful and perfectly written. I fell in love with Alec and Cordelia, two people so different can be so right for each other. This book is the perfect weekend read with a cup of tea. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Alec Sullivan & Cordelia Langley are brought together through a traumatic occurrence. Alec is a billionaire jetsetter, literally owning a private charter plane service. He works hard at his business and at avoiding relationships. Cordelia has lived a quiet life with her love of gardening, her retail garden center and her loving adoptive parents. When they meet, both find missing pieces of themselves in the other. Wonderfully developed story of learning, redemption and insight. The Sullivan family in all its glory is a terrific backdrop as the main relationship develops, and past pain is healed. Lovely love story with powerful & sexy rewards.

I love Bella Andre's Sullivan Series and You Do Something to Me did not disappoint! You just never know what fate has in store for you! I loved how Alec and Cordelia had sparks no matter what was going on. It was also nice to see Alec's other siblings have appearances in this book. I was also adopted and the things I have learned about adoption are amazing. I am so much like my adopted father it is scary. Cordelia was a lot like her adopted parents but she also had the beautiful parts of her birth father in her too. It was nice to see Alec finally learn to love and to be loved by Cordelia and an unexpected display from a father he thought did not care about him. I love big family series books and Bella's Sullivan Series is it!!

You Do Something To Me: The Sullivans Book 17 is by Bella Andre. This is a continuation of the Sullivan series. This family is a large extended family where all of the family is wealthy. That in itself does cause some problems. However, being rich is not without its problems.
Alex Sullivan does not like surprises and does not like his Father. He had been forced at the age of five to take care of his siblings, Harry and Drake and Suzanne. Alex blamed his Father for not being able to stop his Mother from her destructive behavior. Now the others are grown up and doing well as is Alex. Alex was mentored by Gordon Whitley and they were partners in S&W Aviation. The company was doing quite well as was Alex’s personal life. That came to a halt when Alex discovered Gordon in his office dead of a heart attack. Devastated over his friend’s death, Alex was blindsided by Gordon’s will. Gordon left half of S&W to his daughter, Cordelia Langley. Gordon had never mentioned having a daughter. Now she owned one half of the company! Not if Alex had his way!
Cordelia Langley loved her small, thriving nursery business. She loved helping her customers purchase items to place in their yards or helping them create a great landscape for their property. As the daughter of two school teachers, she was not wealthy; but had a wonderful life with her adoptive parents. Now, she learns who her Father is and that she has a billion-dollar stake in an aviation company. She had no desire to learn anything about her biological father and doesn’t even now. She doesn’t want the money, just wants out. She braces herself as she looks at the imposing building, takes a breath, and enters.
Sounds like an easy solution- he wants to buy her out and she wants out. However, suddenly, Alex doesn’t like the easy solution. He feels the need to help her cope with her inheritance before letting her lose with it. What can this lead to?

How do you adjust to becoming a billionaire overnight? Cordelia not only has to deal with that but also with finding out the identity of her birth father. Alec has lost his business partner and best friend. Then he must deal with the daughter his partner never told him about. She's sweet, innocent and naive and he wants her. But she's a forever kind of woman and he's a one and done kinda guy. They resolve to be friends as they give onto their passion. Alec finally realizes he can have love and happily ever after with Cordelia's quiet resolve and inner strength.

I loved this book! Both characters were charismatic, strong, and wonderfully vulnerable. The Sullivans gather round each other in celebration and times of need. The book is no exception. It was pure reading pleasure.

Wow, I really enjoyed Bella Andre's new release in the New York Sullivans series! I love this east coast family, cousins to the west coast Sullivans. The NY Sullivans haven't had it easy with a widowed father and a mother lost to suicide. Alec Sullivan is the hero in this book and he is the oldest of the four siblings. I loved getting his story and can't wait for Harry's story next ... and Maine Sullivans after that! The Sullivans are always such a dynamic family and I'd love to be adopted by them like Cordelia Langley, our heroine, was!

This was a perfectly heartwarming, moving story. I felt Cordelia's deceased birth father, Gordon, all through the pages of this book. Gordon was such a big part of this love story. He would have been so proud of Alec & Cordelia. Cordelia was a silver lining in Alec's loss of his business partner for sure. Alec's life was suddenly turned upside down. Cordelia was raised through adoption and she was pure and genuine... and I loved her! I especially loved Alec's 'happily ever after' as he was understood and loved through the eyes of Gordon and then ... surprise, Cordelia ... such a great story.

Bella Andre is always so hugely insightful into the deep family dynamics and dilemmas and I love her books! Her characters always come to life. Her books just flow and always hold my attention completely. Alec Sullivan was dreamy and tormented but Bella brought him refreshing love in spite of himself! Loved the oasis of Cordelia's life at her garden center and Alec's cooking skills! Perfect story! Thanks, Bella!

Another Sullivan family story and what a fun time this story was! I don’t think there has been a Sullivan family story that I haven’t read, but if you have never had the pleasure, you can start with any of these books. They are all standalone. Alec and Cordelia may be one of my favorite pairings, but if I’m honest, I usually say that about every couple. Alec is the son of William Sullivan who was a reclusive painter. Alec is his oldest and has major issues with his father. He does not believe he can sustain any relationship because of his parents issues. Cordelia was definitely the mature one in this relationship and I loved how she hung in there. It was fun to see many of the other Sullivans appear throughout the book. This was quite the enjoyable read. It was a quick one for me....an afternoon read, but thoroughly satisfying if you want a quick fun read.

Bella Andre is an amazingly gifted writer who has created an incredible series, The Sullivans. With her incredible dialogue, each story becomes a visual treat as we let our imaginations run wild.

Alec Sullivan, CEO of a private, wildly successful Aviation company, is about to get the shock of his life when he learns a secret from his recently departed partner’s death from a heart attack. Whispering a name, Cordelia, with his last breath, Alec is mystified. Unbeknownst to him, Gordon Whitely had a daughter he put up for adoption to a couple he knew would be perfect parents for her. Now, Alec learns she has inherited Gordon’s share of the company.

Arranging a meeting with their attorneys to discuss the situation, Alec is unprepared for his feelings upon meeting Cordelia. He doesn’t do relationships and is shocked at his emotional reaction to her stunning looks and impressive demeanor. Uncharacteristically, he wants to know her better before offering her a buy out, which is far from the professional way he has always done business.

Alec and Cordelia’s journey of self discovery is so beautifully written you’ll want to read it again and again. I know I will. Kudos Ms. Andre for another brilliant book in the saga of the Sullivans.

The beauty of Bella Andre’s Sullivan’s series is that each new release brings me another favourite and ‘You Do Something To Me’ is my new favourite! The anticipation of Alec’s story was worth it . Alec has the right amount of swoon worthy looks with just the right amount of a sweet and sensitive side which only Cordelia brings out in him. They meet when Alec’s business partner Gordon suddenly dies, leaving his share of their partnership to his daughter who he had given away 25 years ago. Unaware of Cordelia’s existence, Alec is shocked to learn that she has inherited half of his company. Alec is determined to convince Cordelia to sell him her share . Cordelia is devastated to learn that her birth father lived only 30 mins away and never tried to contact her. She is more than willing to sell her share and move on. When he first meets Cordelia, Alec is immediately drawn to her beauty and independent spirit.
However, can 2 people differing backgrounds and hopes for the future find a way to be together?

I really enjoyed reading this beautiful love story by Bella Andre. It was beautifully written and I felt she really put a lot of herself in this story. It's a story about another one of the Sullivans finding his HEA. This time it is Alec, who is the oldest and thinks he's got everything he needs and lives to take care and watch over his siblings which he has been doing since age 5 when he lost his mother and his father was lost deep in grief. The woman who finally teaches him he can heal and have everything his siblings have is Cordelia. Cordelia is brave, strong, sweet and beautiful with a gentle spirit. Alec is strong, handsome, sexy and underneath that armor vulnerable, not wanting to love someone ever. Cordelia has never known her biological father and loses him at the same time she learns about him. The story is loving, tender and caring, both learning to reach out and I watched all the family along with Alec and Cordelia work through their grief and pain to find the strength to forgive and to love again. I didn't want to stop reading until the very end and it was one of those stories I could read over again and enjoy and still see something I didn't see or feel the first time. I received an advance copy of this book and I am voluntarily writing this review.
