I've got several Snarks, Intellituners, a Korg standard tuner, and a ton of iPhone app tuners, but this is really my favorite. Its ability to be used on multiple instruments besides just the guitar is great. If you don't have a metronome the Agthog tuner for an additional $5 is a very nice alternative. It is bigger than this AROMA and it also can sound out the correct tone too, for old school tuning fork kind of tuning practice, as well as a magnetic ball attachment that should let the unit break apart in a way that you can just reattach it quickly. But for me I like this one a bit better as it is a bit more discreet.

One nice feature is that it shows you the string number for the instrument you are tuning, which is good for when you are just learning a new instrument. The rechargeable battery is good too, though I don't know how long the charge will last yet.

This tuner is fantastic. Very easy to see the colorful display, very accurate tuning. Just got it, and I own planet waves and snark clip ons as well, so I have a reference. I like that it has a rechargeable batter, and comes with a USB cable to do so. The only potential downside is how easy it is to accidentally shift the hz away from 440, which can impact how well you tune in a group setting, where 440 is standard - the button is very easy to bump when turning on or off, but thankfully it is easy to see hz on the display. The button should be on the back, or recessed- because the feature is so rarely needed to be adjusted, in fact I just need to be at 440 in general, and always, in the foreseeable future!

I've been struggling to make this tuner work consistently but it only works about 1/2 the time, if that. It seems to have a bad connection where it will only work intermittently. finally disgusted enough with it that I am going to toss it and buy another Snark, which always works. I really like that this is rechargeable, but what good it that if I can't tune my guitar.

I have tuners coming out my butt. This one is a new animal. Easy to read and use. It charges up with a usb port. I have only owned this for a couple of days but I have used it a lot. I like the larger and brighter readout. It also has different modes and tuning. The seller seems good and I think I'll buy from them again. No more batteries!!

The pointer reacts very fast and stops at the note right away without swinging. If the note is not on the correct pitch, there is a number on the screen telling you how far off you are. Works wonderfully for my violin, too! The tuner picks up the notes fast and accurately!

Also, it can be charged with the usb cable, so I don’t need to buy batteries any more! Great tuner!

Simple, accurate, works great!
The tuner works very well for my bass, since most tuners may not detect the low pitch which really annoys me. This tuner is very user friendly with one clip on the instrument, and few buttons to choose the correct tuning mode. Do not need to buy any batteries, such a money saver!

I like that this reads in cents, it’s the reason I bought it. It’s accurate but when I go to turn off the meter it jumps modes. I tune my guitar with the tuner set for chromatic, when I turn off the tuner it will jump to guitar or violin, bass etc. it’s a pain in the neck when you’re with other musicians and you have to fool around with getting it back to chromatic.

This is perfect, especially since it’s for a beginning guitar player - he is able to properly and easily tune his guitar. It’s very easy to use and his playing already sounds better. :)

My husband bought this tuner when his expensive one broke. He likes this one better and it is less expensive.
