Love these! I have Sensitive teeth and gums and it's impossible to find a soft bristle tooth brush that works for me. I found one from oralb which was labeled extra soft but was a little hard for me. This toothbrush is super soft and the bristles are thin at the end so I can actually feel them getting in-between my teeth when I brush. The brush head is also narrow so I can get all the way to the back of my wisdom teeth. Idk if the activated charcoal part will be effective but I really do love the toothbrush.

i really like these!
-handle is great for small handed people, almost like it was made for my hand/fingers.
-brush size is perfect for smaller mouths too (not too compact in size but, not your normal toothbrush head size either, in between the two).
-bristles are close to being on the ultra soft side but, not so ultra soft that it doesn't clean teeth well.
-not sure about the activated charcoal part, use to seeing blackness on my teeth when i use activated charcoal and there is none of that but, oddly i think the brush did actually lighten up of the coffee stains i still had on two areas on one tooth.

one thing i noticed after one use was the bristles showing more wear (bristle poking out sideways) than normal after a first time use so i don't expect these brushes to last as long as more popular name brands but, for less than $1.50 each i sure don't care about that and will be rebuying these for sure.

My boyfriend and I fell in love with this toothbrush the moment we've used it! Below is the review after using it for about a week.

I have very sensitive gums that used to bleed easily and was inflamed a lot regardless of how well I brushed or flossed or waterpicked or used the germ killing mouthwash. I tried the soft toothbrush for kids and babies too. Nothing had seemed to work for the last few years and I thought I had to live with my painful bloody mouth forever.

After using this toothbrush, in just a week, my gums started to heal, it's not painful or inflamed anymore, and I don't bleed! The brush is so soft and thin that it gets into the smallest spaces between your teeth and gums without irritating the gums, and gets them all cleaned out. The best part is how nice and gentle the brushes feel in the mouth! I can't thank whomever created this toothbrush enough :) Now my mouth feels great and finally normal again!

Excellent soft bristle toothbrush. I feel these clean my teeth much better than a traditional brush. I have a bad habit of not flossing, and I believe this brush is helping with that aspect also. This brush really irritated my gums at first (similar to flossing). After about a week, there is no irritation and flossing hurts much lesser now also.

As for the charcoal aspect I can not really comment. I use this brush with charcoal based toothpaste, so I do not know if it is helping or not. However, I figure it can not hurt.

As for the design, it is solid. The head of brush fits my mouth perfectly, and the handle provides an excellent grip.

I only just received my toothbrushes today, so this review is mainly my first impressions! I will update this review as more time passes.

The bristles on these brushes are exceptionally soft. “Soft” brushes I’ve used throughout my life up until now were still quite abrasive. I just thought that’s how all toothbrushes are, and that’s how they “worked” to clean my teeth. My first time using one of these Xlent brushes, I immediately felt the difference! This is a truly soft brush.

I still had some bleeding from my gums, because they are inflamed, but not nearly as much as I’d get with my regular toothbrush. A few spots here and there, nothing running.

I hope to be able to provide a much more comprehensive review as I continue using these!

After using twice, I ordered another set for me and a set for my mom. These are the best manual toothbrushes I’ve ever used AND they’re more affordable than what I would pay for standard toothbrushes at the store. They are so soft and comfortable on my gums, but the little bristles feel like they get in between my teeth better than any other toothbrush I’ve used. Plus the compact head reaches comfortably into ever place in my mouth. Love these and plan to use them from now on! :)

When I saw this I thought...a black tooth brush?? I have no idea if the charcoal is doing anything. I really don't care that much. I have a difficult time finding a truly soft toothbrush. They might say soft or extra soft, but when I get them home there usually is nothing soft about them. This brush is great. I can feel the bristles getting between my teeth and it's very comfortable for me to use. I will be buying more of these.

After trying out almost every tooth brush at my local Walgreens, Walmart, Publix, CVS, etc you name it I tried it, all of the tooth brushes labeled "soft" ended up in my trash can. I have super sensitive gums and teeth, and when I go to the dentist my doctor has been saying that my gums are receding more and more every time I go for my check up. Since I buy everything else I own off of Amazon, I decided to search for a "soft" toothbrush when I came across these. I ordered the four pack and received them super fast and they came in blue, purple, green and pink. Before brushing I always soak my tooth brush head in warm/hot water to soften the bristles and did so with this brush as well. The first time I used these I was AMAZED at how SOFT they were. I can honestly say it is the softest tooth brush I have EVER used. I can feel the bristles actually going between my teeth for a deep cleaning and not ripping apart my gums like all the other brushes I have tried. After I was done brushing my mouth felt so refreshed, clean, and feeling great. The black bristles also add a very cool touch to the appearance of the brush making it that much cooler! I gave the other 3 brushes to my mother, father, and girlfriend and they were also blown away at how soft these brushes were and what a great job they did.

Maybe upgrade the rating later but for now. Brush "hair" immediately stuck out on first use.
Not as soft as expected. I tried one and dosed it with boiling water to soften up and the other regular cold water. Not soft as expected hoping it is just a not so good batch because I want to.order more.

I like these a lot. I have gum recession despite 3 dental hygienist visits a year. I do it all as they tell me. They wanted me to try finding extra soft bristled brushes, and I've had a similar product before from a name brand. So I got these! They're actually better in my opinion because the handle is designed with a hole in the center. It likely conserve resources for the manufacture to offer these at low prices. The added bonus for us is that the handle flexes and reminds you to not 'over brush' by brushing too hard.

Hopefully I'll see improvement in my gums.
