I have a 7 yr. old mini dachshund and I switched from Pedigree to this food (chicken) and her allergies (of which I could never figure out what they all were), her digestion/gas and bottom gland problems are SO MUCH better. She hasn’t been this excited about every single drop of her food since I can remember. I would have done it so much sooner if I’d known this would have helped her! I am ordering more flavors for her and highly recommend this for animals (and people who can’t have gluten/grains in their kitchen) who have dogs with the above problems with regular/grained dog food.

So this smells disgusting to humans but extremely appetizing to my puppy! I did literal months of research to find the best food for my puppy (besides a full raw diet -- my vet wanted me to wait until he was at least 6 months to feed raw) and this is the winner! It has excellent ratings on all the dog food rating sites and is actually what my vet feeds her own puppies so I knew it was a winner! It's convenient and he loves it and has no problems with regurgitation like he did with the kibble he came home on. We bought some great can lids that we just pop on and that makes refrigeration between servings really simple. I'll continue to buy this until we transition him to a full raw diet when he is a little older.

first for the human side: easy open cans, low odor, solid food comes out of the can easy. Dog side: Goober has been a special diet since being extremely sick. She had a bacteria infection from the dog food we allow in the market from China. She has been eating refrigerated dog food from the grocery store. My last bags had mold, not too fresh huh. For the last month we have tried every food on the market. This is the winner. She is a huge mixed hound dog, but I bought the little cans for a test. 2 cans at first, and she tipped over her bowl looking for more. 2 more cans. I can not express how great it feels not to throw away your money for food the dog wont eat and find something grain free at the same time.

Edit: spelling issues

For those who purchase this dog food please put in your refrigerator so that it will firm up. I ordered for my Jack Russell female. When UPS dropped off the box was very warm. I open a can only to see lots of mushy food. The dog ate part then after about 10 minutes threw up. I was scared to death. So researching on the web did more back ground information found that keeping in the fridge prior will enhance the favor and firm the food up. My dog loves it. Nothing wrong with the product. Hope this helps others.
Amazon was more than helpful issuing a prompt refund but I contacted them to re charge my account.

Have been buying this food for my 2 Papillons now for 2 years. They suffered from so many allergies. This is the ONLY thing I will feed them now. They get some canned and some of the dry chicken flavored kibble twice a day. Recently my 12 year old dog had to have some oral surgery done, which involved lot's of labs. The vet actually called with the results and asked if there was a mistake in his age. I said, no he is 12, is there a problem. She said no, but what ever you are doing, keep doing it, his labs are amazing for a dog his age. He has an 8 year old brother, and the 2 of them act like teenagers. I would recommend this product to everyone.

My pup took to this wet food right away! I use it as a mixer and my picky eater began to finally eat up her food at feeding times without hesitation. I've since purchased the kibble with raw and once again, score. She is now 8 months and it has taken 6 months for her to show any real positive liking to her food options, this brand is a winner and I love the healthiness of the grain free!

The quality of the dog food is excellent, but quite a few of the cans were dented. Not just around the edges, but in the middle where they must have been dented before shipping. Still, nothing was leaking and this flavor isn't too easy to find.

I bought this on July 29, 2016. Today in one of the last can that I have I found a really hard thing which I could not identify.
I am not going to buy this product again

I have three small breed dogs. I just got them used to the salmon flavor and was having luck with it agreeing with their tummies when the flavor was discontinued. I decided to try the beef but am not sure it agrees with all three. I discarded 7 cans of this food because when I opened them they were mush. I was informed by the company it was due to the fat in the food. Not good quality control. It was replaced and so far this batch is good.

They recently changed the label design on the cans, and I suspected that they also changed the ingredients - they did. One of the changes, unfortunately, is more salt - it is now higher on the ingredients list. However, this food still seems to be among the best, as some others I looked at have even more salt.
One good thing about the change - the food is a little firmer; less mooshy...and there seems to be less liquid/more food in the cans now.
