Done with Harsh Chemicals!!
on June 7, 2017
I have been using these patches for a little over a month. Most of the areas are typical t-zone trouble areas. I was skeptical that these would work. The only experience I've had with this material was in blister pads, but they worked, so, I thought I'd try it out.
Let me get to the point, I'm 100% sold on these, this brand, and the savings they provided me by cutting harsh chemical routines out of my daily skin care ritual. Gone are the days of benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, which were always too harsh for my sensitive skin. Plus, I'm a picker and these cover the area up, keep it clean, and I don't have to over moisturize my skin, which restarts the cycle.
Try them if you're thinking about it. I've used them on tons of areas and not just for pimples! I've used them on the leftover irritation from ingrown hairs, broken bug bites, and even small blisters.
One item to note is that I find they work best over an "open" wound. For me, they don't pull out anything that isn't exposed. Although, they definitely help reduce the redness and appearance.
Regarding wearing these in public? They are transparent with a bit of skin tone (not sure if it's on purpose, I've had clear/whiteish ones before) that matches my skin and these tend to blend in. I've forgotten them on my face a number of times when making Sunday grocery runs. They are also way less noticeable than the acne spot treatments.
For best results, I use them at night after washing and before lotion. Put lotion on around them but not on them. They will absorb it on the edges which is a bit ick. I take them off first thing in the morning and I always see reduced redness and inflammation. In fact, I've had to do less and less acne management over the last several weeks due to these.
Like I said, I'm done with the harsh drying chemicals, these patches are absolutely worth it for me.
