Act as though you are preparing for WAR!!
July 28, 2016
I went to war with these bugs. It was going to be them or me. This product along with the protective mattress covers cured my bed bug problem in under two weeks. Mind you don't think I had an infestation but it definitely could have turned into that. So let me tell you.
I was getting bit like crazy for about 2 months. I had no idea they were bed bugs, I just assumed it was mosquitoes. Then one day I walked in my bedroom and there was a shedding of a bed bug. I panicked. Ripped all of my sheets and comforters off and threw them in the trash (at like 2 in the morning). Bagged my clothes (washed them in HOT water and put them in the dryer on HIGH). The next day I went on Amazon and purchase a bed bug mattress cover (make sure that it is specifically for bed bugs because they are so tiny they can try to escape. I vacuumed every inch of my mattress and box spring. I put the mattress and the box spring in their respective encasements and put this inside with it. Then I put this around the edge of my bed and in every corner of my room. Inside of sprinkling this on top of my area rug, I sprayed it in underneath. For about a week I slept in my guest room, once I was sure there were none in there also.
This did not kill every bed bug because I wasn't sure where exactly they were coming from but I am sure that this with the combination of the mattress covers helped A LOT. I went back in my room a week later and there was still a few bugs, It was like they attacked me because they hadn't been eating. So I purchased a Conair steamer, they tell you to get an industrial one but you don't really need to spend that much money, and I steamed my box spring. mattress covers, my entire bed frame, twice a day for a week. Then I went back around with the powder. I did see a few tiny bugs in the powder but they were dead. Even though I got rid of the bugs, I also purchased Saybyebugs from Saybyebugs.com as another preventive measure because this is a spray that actually kills the eggs and stops them from reproducing.
What you will need:
Mattress covers (one for the mattress and one for the box spring)
Diatomaceous Earth Powder
You may need others if you have a more serious infestation.
Side Note - I purchased this under my sister's account since she has Prime, which is why I don't have the verified purchase stamp.
