...they would say two words about this food...."MORE PLEASE!" MY Chihuahua's would kill each other for this food. Made an enormous difference in their coat quality. Great for finicky dogs...a great food for pups of all breeds that are eating solid food. It's like the fountain of youth for older dogs. All my dogs LOVE this food!!! Highly recommended!

EDIT:
Apparently this food is full of sugars, fillers, and starches... after the second bag, our Yorkie has gained 5lb (almost 50% her normal weight). She was always "hungry", although we fed her the same amount as her previous food, despite her begging for more. We also took her to the vet to check for parasites/worms because she has been constantly digging/licking her rear. Our Vet said she was having an allergic reaction to the food and recommended we switch her back to the food she had been on for years (also a Purina product). After only three weeks back on the old food, her weight is dropping and she's stopped her constant hind-quarters-licking. She is looking and feeling "healthy" again.

I've amended my rating to 2-stars because the food, while apparently tasty, is basically like feeding your dog junk-food... there is no substance too it, just empty calories, and ours is allergic to one or more of the ingredients. I cannot recommend this food any longer. While others may have great luck with it, they should really watch their dog's weight at the least...

ORIGINAL POST:
Seems to be great food, which our Yorkie really loves the taste of... she begs for more, although we refuse to over-feed her. This size bag isn't available locally (and only twice the price - and 3.5x more food - than our usual 3.5lb bag bought locally), and is cheaper here than any other online supplier.

My Doxie is really picky when it comes for food for the last 6 years ill i could get him to eat was Old Roy high pro. I have tried so many high end brands to have him turn his nose up to it and not eat for 2 to 3 days because he did not like it I ended up giving the high end dog food away to friends. Tried this brand in a small bag that was on sell at Safeway one day and he loved it was really happy i finely found a good dog food that my dog would eat.

I have a 7lb Maltese dog who is mildly picky and he really likes this food. He absolutely LOVES the chewy pieces and goes crazy for them. He actually picks all of that out first and leaves the crunchy pieces for last, though. He does like and eats them without any coaxing or issue but it's obvious that it's not as tasty to him as the chewy pieces.

Also, he is a senior dog and doesn't have great teeth so it's often hard to find food that is easy for him to chew. He has no problems chewing this; the pieces are nice and small and not too hard. The bag is a great size and has already lasted 6 weeks. There's still half the bag left, so it's a great buy (in my case).

My 2 Cairn Terriers seem to eat the smaller pieced dog food better than regular sized dog food. Both are 11 years old and have gotten picky and particular about their food. I tried several different types from expensive organic dog foods from pet stores to cheaper selections at the department store. Bella is affordable and good for my pups as well as being one they seem to like. It is easy to order and have delivered to my front door too. The local department store doesn't always have this in stock.

I ordered this about 2 weeks ago (February 2018), as this is the only food that my dog loves. She wouldn't eat any from this bag, and I looked at the date, and it expired in January 2017! THIRTEEN MONTHS AGO! I am disgusted.

I have 3 older dogs who would not eat dry food anymore. I tried several expensive brands and they hated it. I tried this and they love it. They go from bowl to bowl and look for more.

I have a chihuahua and he kept getting into the cat's food because he didn't like his science hill diet formula... I know this probably isn't the best food for him, but he LOVES it and he's picked up some weight from eating it. (He was underweight) Now the cat gets into his food... lmaoo... I have to keep this stuff under lock and key (not literally) just to keep my pets from over eating. Not sure if that's entirely a good thing or a bad thing, but I'm so happy to see my little guy eating again.

I was cooking for my bijon because she refused to eat dog food. I'm going on a trip and my housesitter doesn't cook for herself so couldn't count on her to feed my dog the way I had. I bought this and even before I opened the bag her nose was twitching with interest. This food saved me no more cooking each morning and I don't worry about my upcoming trip.

Normally I would rate this a 5 star as my dogs love it. I have ordered it several times. HOWEVER this time I get the bag and it has a date of January 2017! It is now 2018 and this was just delivered a few weeks ago. I will not be ordering this online again. I will purchase at a store where I can see the dates.
