Fragrance-free but strong scent from the ingredients.
on March 4, 2017
These wipes are thick and textured, with the correct amount of liquid. If wiping butts weren't an unpleasant task, I'd say the clothy material is luxurious as far as wipes are concerned. Each wipe's dimension is 7.5" by 7". The cleaning power was acceptable.
What I couldn't stand was the overwhelming scent. (I need to disclose I'm extremely sensitive to scents and don't use any scented products. Being at department stores or Target gives me a headache after an hour.) Yes, this is fragrance-free, and the scent apparently comes from the ingredients, but the blast of cucumber smell felt like perfume was added. The scent dissipated somewhat quickly, but it was too much for me.
The types of lids do vary. Unlike the photo which has a true plastic lid, mine had a "peel and reseal" cover. I didn't mind it because it's less wasteful, material-wise. That being said, a flipping plastic lid is more convenient. The lid variance didn't affect the rating. The "peel and reseal" cover works well. Attached is a photo.
The ingredients are the following, copied rom the package: water, organic aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, glycerin, alge barbadensis (aloe vera) left extract, chamomilla recutita (chamomile) flower extract, cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract, althaea officinalis (marshmallow) root extract, avena sativa (oat) kernel extract, sodium laurylglucosides hydroxypropylsulfonate, sucrose cocoate, tocopheryl acetate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, polyglyceryl-4 caprylate, sodium lauroyl glutamate, decyl glucoside, diglycerin, sodium citrate, tetrasodium glutamate, diacetate, potassium hydroxide, glucomic acid, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate.
If you simply want to avoid added fragrance but like a natural scent, I'm guessing this would be fine. However, if you can't stand scented products, you'll be disappointed.
