A so-so book about the greatest band ever. While a few of the stories are interesting, too many are bland reprints of stuff that's been done to death.

A quick enjoyable read. A little light on details, as some of the anecdotes beg for elaboration. But all in all fun.

Great read! Honestly speaking here I personally am not a huge Beatles fan, but reading this book has really made me understand why there are so many who are. No doubt those who are true fans will absolutely connect on so many levels with this book, it really is a great journey to go through with the author every single time you pick this book up. On that note I will not spoil anything for you guys, please enjoy!

Louis Miguel has done a great job of gathering, editing and introducing these 36 stories. They are all in the original authors’ words, so you get insights and perspectives you wouldn’t have got, had it been written in one voice. There are pieces by the Fabs themselves and articles drawn from a wide variety of sources. Though they are largely chronological, the stories could be read in any order. Miguel gives a good, contextual introduction and a detailed timeline from Beatle Births to the present.

The stories are informative, entertaining and welcoming to the general reader as well as the devotee. They explore the people, the personalities and the pressures and not everyone comes out glowing. George, my favourite Beatle, for example. You find out about Beatles/Apple staff and how they were treated, new angles on Lennon’s death, religion, drugs, marriage, friendship, infidelity and, bizarrely, the dentist who wants to clone John Lennon from a tooth.

A Fab book, to be read one by one or – if you’re a glutton like me – all in one sitting.

This book was cool! Easy to read, the author explains where the members of the band came from, their adventures around Europe, the spontaneous risks they took and even where the original name came from! To someone who doesn't know anything about the Beatles, I suggest starting with chapter 7 and then 9. In a family of 11 people, only my two younger brothers love the Beatles. But because of the extensive and concise research in this book, I get it now. Their music personified what honest love could really look like, and making sure that The Beatles truly hold the title of original "Fab Four" of music.

What an amazing book. I was captivated from Page 1. Mr. Miguel did a fabulous job in compiling and editing these stories from the very words of the Beatles' themselves. I would recommend this to everybody.

I LOVE how well researched this was! This book contains all the fun facts! It seemed like someone who was close to each of the Beatles members told all these stories.
I also love how it doesn't have a specific order, but is a collection of captivating, behind-the-scenes stories that flow. Each story made this book a page turner!
