I love the secure attachment to the car vent. Also love the ability to adjust the phone 360 degrees to keep glare away from the phone screen, plus lift the phone away from the hazard lights, radio and other dashboard buttons. Can attach to any vent configuration, so will take this with me when I travel as it will fit any rental car. Unobtrusive (my initial concern melted away as its all black color makes it almost invisible in front of the vent. And all at a very reasonable price compared to vent clips that cost a lot more and are not as functional. (I bought 7 vent clips to find one I liked and kept this one.)

No issue with the seller (quick delivery of the phone holder). No issue with the product quality, It is not the best option, however for a Galaxy S8, which is a larger phone. The size of the phone tends to cause it to vibrate and ultimately come lose (regardless of which way you flip the top switch). My vehicle is a Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie and the vent louvers are operable each way (which doesn't help with any phone). I found that a low profile vent mount works best, magnetic if you don't utilize wireless charging (which I do with this new phone). I went with a similar one that has a double foot (no switch and no tilt mechanism) that fit my needs better because of it's lower profile. It fits snug against the vent and doesn't vibrate enough to come loose (so far).

Love it! Fits both my Iphone 7 and my Galaxy S7 edge WITH a pop socket on it! Locks well on to my air vent, swivel head makes positioning a breeze, and it doesn't fall down!

There is a lever on this device that lets you choose the thickness of your vent blade. NICE- I used to use a VINTAR and was bummed that I couldn't find it on Amazon anymore but this thing rocks. It's got a bit more bulk (because of the compression lever) but ultimately it pays off in security. Solid product. I bought 3- for when I rent cars and travel.

Be careful when using this while the heater is blowing air through the vents. My phone overheated several times which is a big inconvenience since I was using it to navigate. Also one of the foam pads glued to plastic frame fell off. I found it and stuck it back on but it still falls off from time to time when I take the phone out of the cradle. The clamp that attaches to the vent also loosens after awhile and I have tighten it up or it falls off. You get what you pay for.

I rent cars quite a bit, and this is great because I haven't found a car yet that this doesn't fit. I use iPhone for maps and this allows me to see the screen very well. The only caution, is that I find that if the iPhone gets too cold, the battery will deplete very quickly and shut down. So I make sure that I don't use the vents with the AC. Floor and defrost vents only.

this thing is awesome - an upgrade from the regular "hook" type (that usually feels flimsy) - it has a dual position lever, for thin and thick blades, a breeze to install AND to remove it. I'm loving it.

Won't stay attached to the vent louvers no matter how you adjust it. As soon as weight of phone is attached and you go around a curve (even only at 35mph btw) it pops off and launches the phone across the car.

Had this for about 1 month now. Overall it's decent. I've found that you need to get the position you want with the locking ring before you mount the phone, because if you try and rotate or re-position it can come loose where it clamps to the vent and then fall down. But once it's in place it does seem to stay in place. I got this so I could mount the phone in a spot up high so I don't have to look down, but not impede my vision like a glass mount. I doubt it will last years. I could see the plastic deteriorating, cracking, and the locking clasp breaking over a period of time especially if you are moving this from one car to another. But for $10 it's a good value.

This phone holder is pretty great, the little clip in the back is strong enough to hold onto the vent without slipping off. I saw it had a ball joint on it so I had doubts for a second that with a little bit of a heavy-ish phone it would weight down and cause the ball joint to let the phone face at a lower angle than what it should be, but it turns out that even with a phone in place it doesn't weigh down and stays in place with however you direction you choose to face the phone. So I'm happy with it overall.
