I love the secure attachment to the car vent. Also love the ability to adjust the phone 360 degrees to keep glare away from the phone screen, plus lift the phone away from the hazard lights, radio and other dashboard buttons. Can attach to any vent configuration, so will take this with me when I travel as it will fit any rental car. Unobtrusive (my initial concern melted away as its all black color makes it almost invisible in front of the vent. And all at a very reasonable price compared to vent clips that cost a lot more and are not as functional. (I bought 7 vent clips to find one I liked and kept this one.)

Love it! Fits both my Iphone 7 and my Galaxy S7 edge WITH a pop socket on it! Locks well on to my air vent, swivel head makes positioning a breeze, and it doesn't fall down!

Seems like a very strong attachment to my air vent. The problem with it is that it is too shallow for my phone case. If you have a thicker case this will not work. I have a Samsung 6 with a case that holds 3-4 cards and it will not stay in. I think it would be fine if you have a regular/thin case, it works ok if I take the cards out. This info may be somewhere - I thought I looked through the info, questions & reviews enough but I didn't think to look for this issue specifically. A friend is buying it off me because the return shipping $ is more than half of its cost and for me, it's a hassle to find one of the various options for dropping off, so not worth it.

I rent cars quite a bit, and this is great because I haven't found a car yet that this doesn't fit. I use iPhone for maps and this allows me to see the screen very well. The only caution, is that I find that if the iPhone gets too cold, the battery will deplete very quickly and shut down. So I make sure that I don't use the vents with the AC. Floor and defrost vents only.

There is a lever on this device that lets you choose the thickness of your vent blade. NICE- I used to use a VINTAR and was bummed that I couldn't find it on Amazon anymore but this thing rocks. It's got a bit more bulk (because of the compression lever) but ultimately it pays off in security. Solid product. I bought 3- for when I rent cars and travel.

this thing is awesome - an upgrade from the regular "hook" type (that usually feels flimsy) - it has a dual position lever, for thin and thick blades, a breeze to install AND to remove it. I'm loving it.

I was hesitant to get this mount at first. My first concern was that with the weight of my iPhone X could damage my car vents especially if I hit a big pot hole. Second, for the best placement in terms of view and accessibility it would block the vent that typically gets directed to my face when running the AC (Center left vent).

For the first concern the best placement is to ensure it is getting clipped on the bottom vent grate. that way it when you secure it the bottom of the clipping mechanism will rest on the bottom lip of the vent and will feel very secure. After driving around with it for a while I don't have any worries it will damage my vent. Also forgot to mention the mount squeezes the phone pretty tight so no worries that the phone will slip out.

For my second concern, though this mount lets you hold the phone vertically or horizontally I opted to have it hold the phone vertically. Sure navigation apps can go either orientation but Spotify doesn't so vertical it is. By having it vertical it only covers half the vent so I still get decent airflow.

So great clip, great price. I actually bought a second one as my wife wanted one for her car after seeing mine.

I've been wanting some kind of dash mount for some time. I finally chose the Exshow, vent phone mount for mounting a Moto G to my Nissan Leaf. I find that the Moto G phone is held securely by the mount (I use landscape orientation), and the vent clip is also secure. Since this phone is used for displaying data from Leaf Spy Pro, I don't need to remove the phone from the mount. If this was my phone for carrying around and I had to remove it from the dash constantly, then I think I would chose some kind of magnetic mount. But for my purpose, this mount works very well.

Won't stay attached to the vent louvers no matter how you adjust it. As soon as weight of phone is attached and you go around a curve (even only at 35mph btw) it pops off and launches the phone across the car.

This phone holder is pretty great, the little clip in the back is strong enough to hold onto the vent without slipping off. I saw it had a ball joint on it so I had doubts for a second that with a little bit of a heavy-ish phone it would weight down and cause the ball joint to let the phone face at a lower angle than what it should be, but it turns out that even with a phone in place it doesn't weigh down and stays in place with however you direction you choose to face the phone. So I'm happy with it overall.
