Quality is not on point. Cute but terrible stitching errors on cheap fabric
October 17, 2018
Just got this yesterday in Xl I’m 5’10” 200lbs typically a size 12 or 14 women’s depending on brands. Well first I will say that I loved the way this jumpsuit looks. It looks great on but has a lot of negatives so I’m going to have to decide if I will return or fix the issues myself. As for the pictures attached the color is much nicer in person (my phone did not do the color justice) is a nice deep navy blue. As for the fit, it fit me great but I could see it not working well for other women (I’m tall 5’10’, and most of my height is in my legs, I actually have a very short torso). Getting it on is difficult as the seems do not stretch and there is no zipper, and the design doesn’t leave proper room for getting it on and off ect). I might do what one other reviewer said and lengthen the key hole cut out/ button combo in the back. As for quality that’s what’s really frustrating. For $40 I wasn’t expecting high quality but there were so many stitching runs and seems that we’re terrible upon arrival (see pictures that was how it arrived before try on), for a $15 item that might be ok, but for $40 at the very least I expect the seems to be intact. The fabric is soft but definitely cheap a bit sheer in bright light even in a dark color. And the tie belt is way too long, doesn’t move well because of the cheap fabric has multiple runs in the belts sticking and at the openings where the the belt comes out. If I didn’t like how it looked so much when on, I would just send it back, but I might have to suck it up fix all the broken/crap seems and stitching and open up the back for easier getting it on and off as I need a jumpsuit in this color fit for an event, and I don’t have time to find a higher quality or return process.
