Plugged it in and home alarm is back to normal. Learned this past winter: we lost power a few times, each instance for hours to days. That killed the previous battery, which is now hooked up to the generator - had overlooked that before. If you lose power for more than a couple of hours I recommend unplugging it (if no generator, of course), because it will lose full charge fairly quickly anyway. Once it does drain it won't recover, so you'll be back here. Luckily at this price point its not too big a deal.
Needed this for my alarm system at home. Local shop wanted double the price. Gave this place a shot and it worked out great. Came in packaged EXTREMELY well. I mean they could have dropped this thing from 40,000ft in the sky and it would be fine after hitting the ground. So far no issues. Would recommend to anyone!
