I used to buy the equate or crest whitening strips every 3-4 months ($15 for the equate, $40 for the crest) and I wanted to try something new! I already have trays ($30.00 made at the dentist to custom fit every tooth for optimal whitening), so I figured I would see if it worked better than the strips which sometimes slide and just don't seem to brighten in between the teeth so well. What I love about the Auraglow is that it actually works (and quickly), it doesn't cause any sensitivity for me, and it was only $20.00! A very little amount of product goes a long way, and there are 3 syringes so it's well worth it! For reference, I've used about 1/5 of one of the 3 tubes and am already seeing whiter results than I'd get using the strips for 7 days. I also use an LED light accelerator for the last 10-15 minutes of every treatment, which is 30 minutes every night before I go to sleep. I'm only on day 5, but already had so many compliments on my smile yesterday!

I drink a lot of home-made protein shakes containing dark berries which instantly stain teeth. I was excited to learn this doesn't cause much sensitivity as other products have such as the whitening strips. So far I've used it 4 times at 30 minute intervals once a night and the results are getting better after each use. Here is the best way to use this product via my my trial & error which will resolve some of the issues I've read:

1.) Boil the plastic teeth tray for around 30-45 seconds. Immediately rinse in warm water so you don't burn your mouth, place in your mouth and bite down hard for 10 seconds. This will form a mold to fit more tightly in your mouth. Mark the top of tray with a slight cut or puncture so you know which is top and bottom.

2.) Place LED light on BOTTOM sleeve of plastic tray--not top! You will never fit the light into the top and bottom sleeve. The light will still hold in place in the bottom sleeve. I place the LED power button on top but it's pure preference.

3.) Apply gel in a up & down zig-zag pattern like a polygraph test on top and bottom tray so it full covers your teeth.

4.) Place tray with attached LED light into mouth and press LED button on. The LED light has a timer and beeps and turns off every 10 minutes. Once it beeps press it again until you reach your desired minutes.

5.) Use this product when you can tilt your head slightly backwards or lying down so you don't drool. I do it before bed reading my Ipad or watching TV or reading a book, which kills time fast.

I'm giving it 4 stars because after 7-8 uses all of the gel will be used so I re-ordered more gel. If I achieve my results I'll upgrade the review. The best thing about this product is that it didn't cause me an sensitivity and I'm willing to order more gels and use it more often vs. other products with sensitivity issues. I hope this helps people!

Definitely not 44% carbamide peroxide or this batch is faulty. Doesn't have any of the peroxide sting expected, feels like 7% at most. Don't buy this brand, they have no quality control apparently. Pretty packaging though.

Used it for about a week now, no whitening seen. 44% gel should be burning your gum if you accidentally get some along the gum line, but nope! I did not feel any pain or burning sensation or increase in teeth sensitivity, which I got from my dentist's 15% gel.

I highly doubt that the gel has been diluted or replaced with fake product. Would like a refund.

After two weeks of daily use resulted in little effect, I was told it wasn't intended for graying hues. This little tidbit would have been nice to know prior to purchase.

VERY strong whitening gel. After just three applications I noticed nearly all my staining was gone. BUT it will affect your gums with some irritation over time (bleeding, etc). So be careful how much / how often you apply.

Have only used twice so far, combined with their light but there is already a noticeable difference! I just quit smoking and am trying to whiten and brighten, eliminate nicotine stains. I believe I’ve found my solution!

It's noticeable after the first use the difference it makes. Some gel accidentally spilled over the top when I put the tray in and it burned the top of my lip, but I'm satisfied with the product overall.

Not sure if it really works. I think I like the Crest strips better. With the strips you can see a change in the color of your teeth. This product- I have placed in my invisalign trays, but have not noticed a difference .
