Excellent taste and very smooth going down.
I've used many brands and normally it takes a lot of shacking or stirring but this one dissolves very easily and carries a very nice aroma.
I personally mix it sometimes with mango fruit pieces or strawberry and it taste superior from others.

I absolutely love this protein. First off, it's a blend which is vital for overnight since it has casein. It's also great for those of us that don't want to eat or drink whey mid-workout. The calories are low enough for those of us on a cut or wanting to maximize our whole foods.

It is easily one of the better tasting protein blends. However, make sure you put enough water in your shaker, because this one is SWEET. It has to be one of the sweetest protein powders I've had. BUT -- the great part is the fact that if you add things like creatine, beta-alanine or BCCAs it balances out very nicely.

It taste exactly like a vanilla milkshake. I easily burned through all of mine in a few weeks.

The price is in the middle ground, not too cheap and not too expensive. Just be careful, because some people tend to overcharge for Cookies and Cream and other uncommon flavors. Stick with chocolate and vanilla and you will be solid.

I got tired of Optimum Nutrition ON whey protein powder being so expensive, so I started shopping around. MusclePharm Combat whey matches and/or beats ON whey in just about every category on the label, and it's much cheaper. I wish there was an affordable protein powder (under $55 for 5 lbs) that doesn't use artificial sweeteners, but Combat Whey is the best protein powder I've found in this price range. I'd like to see a few more flavors. I mix the strawberry flavor with a banana in my blender every morning, and it tastes good.

I've always been a pretty lean guy courtesy of genetics, even while maintaining athletics and training basically since birth. I went from 145 to 165 in USMC basic and I eventually settled around 155 and stuck there for a decade while lifting weights, boxing, and playing soccer on 90% of days in the year. Working 10 hour days I just can't eat the way I should. Supplements were usually a scoop of protein powder and pre-workout, nothing more.

I bought this Mass Gainer as a recent addition to the MP Combat Protein Powder to try and add some bulk and the results have exceed my expectations. Purchased on Nov 7, and I mix one scoop of this (vanilla) with one scoop of Combat Powder (C&C) in about 8oz of water which makes a 450cal, 37g protein shake that mixes well (I use ice to break up the chunks) and tastes great. Usually I take one on top of breakfast and one after a workout; maybe one here and there as a snack before bed.

Since November I've seen my weight steadily rise from 155 to a current 163 so I'm definitely pleased with the results. I've even had multiple unrelated people mention that I look bigger, which of course speaks for it self! Give it try, especially if you're training and simply can't get the right calorie intake for whatever reason.

After trying this, I had to write a review. I literally just took my first sip. This is freaking amazing! I opened the Amazon package: was impressed by the matte wrapping and the shimmering green. Opened the lid: saw the yellow-ish powder. Smelt it: not bad, not bad at all. Mixed it: used roughly 8 oz. of regular water. Let it set in the freezer for ten minutes to chill. Smelt it again: once more, not bad, but perhaps too good to be true. Drank it: HOT DAMN. HOT DAMNNNNN. THIS IS ACTUALLY GOOD.

I've been taking some form of protein powder for over a decade. Recently, I've looked for an all-in-one powder that I can take after workouts as well as before bed or throughout the day if I get hungry or need a quick meal replacement. This is as opposed to taking whey after a workout, and casein before bed; I just got tired of buying multiple tubs of protein powder. This product fit the bill nicely. I look for 4 things when picking out a protein powder:

1. Nutrient profile: This has 25 grams of protein, and includes a mix of whey and casein, which is what I was taking before in two separate products. It also has 5 grams of carbs, which is fairly low (I'll buy anything with single-digit carbs, but the lower the better).

2. Flavor: Tastes good. I usually get protein in either chocolate or vanilla, and I got the chocolate Combat Powder. It doesn't have any weird aftertaste or grainy flavor, which is a problem sometimes. I usually mix it with water, and tastes about as good as protein mixed in water can taste. I'll occasionally mix it with milk, which tastes even better.

3. Mixability: Mixes well in water or milk in my shaker bottle, with no clumps. A little bit sticks to the side, which is normal.

4. Price: Price was pretty good. Under $40 for over 50 servings of quality protein is a good deal. It's not the cheapest protein powder, but is among the best-priced protein for what you get.

taste just like a milkshake but it's actually good for you. I only take it post workout and it's very satisfying. the only complaint I have is that it doesn't mix well with almond milk and I gained tons of weight compared to the other protein powder I usually used: Eidpro. I think I'll stick to Eidpro since I get the same amount of muscle gains without the gassyness, bloat and horrible weight fluctuations.

I read the reviews and I searched for a protein powder that has it all...whey, casein, low to no sugar, and nice tasting... well I'm here to tell you the cookies and cream is fantastic, mix with half almond milk and half water, it's really, really good!!! I'm writing this review so you'll know to make the right choice and for the price per pound it's inexpensive for 4 pounds...I searched and compared all night; I've bought their products in the past, and they have great products!!!

I am a weight lifter and have been using this once a day for about three months now and am not inclined to stop. It is, in my opinion, better than other protein powders I have used because the ingredients are good, clean ingredients with no crazy sugars or additives or anything of that sort, it doesn’t have a horrible taste like many do, and it is at a very reasonable price point. Definitely recommend (and I am not being bribed to recommend it in any way, this is just an honest user’s opinion.)

As an athlete, I have been taking protein supplements off and on for 15 years. I have tried everything from top shelf whey isolate powders to cheap blends with lots of sugar. I have also taken Casein supplements on their own depending on what my goals are at the time. I have had experience with the good, the bad, the expensive, the cheap, the delicious, the disgusting, and everything in between.

When it comes to this product, the blend/ratio of whey, casein, and egg proteins are very similar to that of the more expensive blends. I'm generally not too picky when it comes to flavors, but this protein tastes great; like a post training desert! I just mix it with water in my shaker bottle and thats it. The value is outstanding when comparing the price per serving size with that of the competition. I actually bought this when it had a coupon available as well so it ended up being the cheapest option. Overall, this protein is a perfect option for those who want to supplement their normal protein intake and athletes who are looking for pre/post/intra workout support. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they don't tell you exactly how many grams of each protein you get per serving.
