While it may work for more traditional use-cases, it did not work when attempting to extend my Oculus Rift CV1; screen would not turn on. This is most likely because it does not supply the power the headset typically gets straight from the HDMI port on my 1070 GPU.

This review is not to criticize this cable, since it didn't claim to work for my use. It is more to warn others that may want it for the Rift, so that they do not waste their money.

Purchased this extension because I was having interference when using my firestick. This has solved the problem.

Works as it should. No problems with video or audio. I use this cable with the Amazon Fire TV Stick to bring it out from behind the TV for better WIFI signal. Fire TV Stick shows full bars on the signal and works much better now.

15ft variant did not power the screens on my Oculus Rift Headset. I should have read more closely to observe that the people who had success used the 6ft or 10ft variant. I suspect there is something about the resistance (impedance) when you go beyond 10ft. I tried various combinations with USB directly into PC and only HDMI on 15ft extension. The cable works fine for other monitors and AV Devices. Good cable. Just didn't work for my intended purpose.

I used this for my Firestick to keep it from being smashed behind the console. It seemed to be overheating and locking up. I used this to move it out where it can get some air. Works fine. No issues.

Works perfectly with the Amazon Fire Stick! I wasn't thinking when we had our TV wall mounted. Due to the location of our HDMI port, the Fire Stick wouldn't fit behind the TV. This worked perfectly and a fraction of the price in local stores. I have uploaded a few pictures for you, but the item is exactly as described. If you are looking for a little more length from your HDMI port, this is the perfect solution!

I purchased this product (3ft) to use to connect my Oculus Rift VR headset to my PC. The HDMI port is on my video card and I wanted to be able to connect/disconnect the device from the front of the computer. Cable works perfectly and performance is identical to plugging the headset straight into the HDMI port. Product was exactly as pictured and performs well.

I bought this cable after researching the reasons why my Amazon Fire Stick kept dropping its network connection at least every other day. I really didn't think this was the answer, but since I hooked this cable up, my Fire Stick has not dropped the connection at all (knock on wood). This was a great and inexpensive solution!

Extends the length of my HDMI cable. I had a DVI to HDMI converted cable, but it was too short for my current needs. Rather than buy a new cable, just bought this extension cable and has worked perfectly, no issues so far.

I bought the 25-foot length. It is the heaviest HDMI cable I've ever seen. The diameter of the cable is almost the size of my little finger and it weighs about 2 lbs. Some of the photos show a much thinner cable. Perhaps the cable is thicker for the longer lengths. For my application it works fine because I have the cable suspended above my equipment and dropping DOWN to the TV and PC. If you had the cable lying on the floor though and leading UP to your devices, it seems like the weight of the cable might be enough to make it unplug itself. It seems to be well-made and it works fine, but if I had realized how heavy it is I probably would have looked for a thinner style of cable.
