Trying to keep an old dog healthy
December 28, 2016
So far so good my old 107 lb blue pitbull baby has a bald spot on his lower back. It seemed very pink and itchy, no fleas? I stumbled on a site saying dogs don't eat grain and read reviews on this dog food and thought I would give it a try. It has only been just over a week. The dogs eat it but they eat horse poop so no big thing there. His skin in the bald patch seems whiter, less pink. He still lays on his back scratching on the floor with a big dumb smile. He is very old hips going, tried different things to help old dog joints and when I put it on his food he would not eat it. I was hoping to see a difference in his crotchityness, not so far. He is a very sweet big boy, vet says well passed his life expectancy. It is funny how fast 14 years goes.
I will update if his hair starts to grow in. You wish they would last forever.
