*********NO SPOILERS REVIEW*******
I enjoyed this love story--and romance books are NOT my cup of tea; I'm one of those holier-than-thou lovers of literature who think romance novels are crap. There. I said it. But, this book is not a romance novel; It's a novel about a romance. Did you miss the nuance (that's probably all in my imagination) there? That's okay. Just know that those who enjoy a romantic romp will like this, as will anyone purely wanting a well-written, fun story.

If you read the description, then you know the set-up. It's a cute idea and the author runs with it. I've seen some of the reviews complaining that the book is predictable, but I'd like to clarify that. The fact that the two leads are going to end up together is, yes, predictable. However, the scenarios the pair must travel through to get to that happy ending are inventive and fresh. I certainly couldn't predict what would happen in . . . ah, well, sorry, no spoilers.

Mother and f•••er are two of the first three words of the novel, although I could be mistaken (I'm pretty sure I'm not). Also, while the love scenes aren't particularly graphic, some of the language surrounding the sexy stuff may be considered vulgar by some. Although, others would just see it as frank. Basically, if you run the risk of being offended by a line-hugging PG-13 movie, then this isn't the book for you.

All-in-all, The Ticket Is a charming, enjoyable, read-it-and-forget-it, beach book. No one's going to write their master's thesis on it, but, sometimes, that's exactly what you're looking for.

This was such a fun book to read! I loved the main female character, Alison James. She is Strong, Sexy, Smart, Quirky and Responsible. What a combination! Pete is looking for someone to use the ticket for a trip to major cities in the world that was intended for his ex-girlfriend. He just needs another women with the same name. Allison just happens to have the same name and was pushed into this situation by her best friend. Both Pete and Allison need a change in their lives and The Ticket gives that push to both of them. A wonderful story that I loved from beginning to end!

I really enjoyed this quirky book. Pete and Alison meet when he puts an request on Social media that he's looking for someone with the same name as his ex to be his travel companion as he has non refundable tickets for a round the world trip.
This is a really unique storyline. The each have some issues to deal with, but are so attracted to each other and manage to figure out that they were meant to be after several bumps in the road. A sweet romance with a nice HEA.

Another slam dunk for Heather Grace Stewart! This fun novel will take you all over the world on a toe-curling adventure you won't soon forget. Haven't we all fantasized about being swept away on a jetsetting vacation by a handsome hero? Love this book.

This novel helped me think out of my comfort zone. Ms.Stewart writes an exciting and emotional story. Her characters are very real and could be your friends and family. I did not put it down once I started it.

Many books are able to grab your attention and pull you into a story, for a variety of reasons. Maybe it's quick-witted banter between the two main characters. Perhaps it's those tender and private moments of affection that occur outside of the public's eye. This clever story and the way it's developed does that, and so much more.

To combine the soft and passionate emotions of a romance alongside some belly-aching humor is impressive enough. But, to tackle important social and environmental issues while diving deep into each of the character's psyches to learn what it means to be human, all in the same book, is rare. And refreshing.

This book by Heather is a quick read that I don't believe will soon be forgotten. And now that an audio book with dual narrators is forthcoming, I'm already looking forward to my second "read" of this story. With a dash of adventure, a splash of humor, and spoonful of romance, this is the perfect recipe for an afternoon read, or as long as you want to stretch it out, savoring each chapter and heartwarming word.

It was a fun quick read. I did laugh out loud a couple of times which was my main reason for purchasing the book. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I felt that sometimes the story-line was rushed and didn't transition well but all in all it was enjoyable and fun.

I really liked this book. It was well-written, interesting, and romantic.
Ending was a little contrived, but overall, a very enjoyable read, and I would
definitely read other works by this author.
