Smiling Paws Organic Cat litter deodorizer

I received this product as promised in a timely fashion and was anxious to try it out. The fact that it is organic is a plus. I sprinkled the amount as recommended. I was impressed. I couldn't smell any urine or fecal odor even when standing right over the litter box. But the true test had to wait until my sister came back. She had refused to go into the room where the litter box was because all she could smell is the urine. She'd walk into the room with her nose covered, even though I just got through cleaning the litter box. So when she came back, she went into the room without holding her nose and now can stand being in the room to do her sewing, even when the cats had just used the litter box. 4 paws and 2 thumbs up for this product. It's amazing!

Smells like cotton candy???

So when I received this package it smelled VERY strong like cotton candy. Thought it was really weird that the smell was so strong. Come to find out after I opened the package, one bottle exploded in the bag and was all over the place. I managed to pour most of it back into the bottle and shove the top on it, but it for some reason was sticky too. Seems OK other than the top is lopsided where it spins to rotate what setting you want to pour if at all.
We’ll see if it holds up to hiding the litter smells.

Best of luck in your new business. It's just been a few days since I received and started using the litter deordizer I ordered from you and I am amazed at the results. It fits my furry friends need (maybe more so MY need) for the best smelling litter box in town and so far I'm loving it. Who would have thought that something so simple would work so well. Where have you been all my cat life? Shipment was very quick and safely packaged. It my seem a little pricey to some but it goes a long way and is worth the results. I will be ordering more cans from you pronto.

I ordered 3 different deodorizers-thinking if one didn't do the trick the other one might...well this one was chosen because although I would recommend starting with clean litter and a disinfected box-(I had just done that a few days prior to ordering)- I sprinkled 2 tablespoons and I have not smelled the box since-this box is used by 3 cats and I scoop constantly-but because of location(basement) I believe the dampness augments said box odor-ANYWAY THE LONG AND THE SHORT IS ….. this works!

Working even on not-great litter!

I gave a litter I've used previously a second chance, thinking maybe I had just gotten a bad batch. Within a day, the litterbox smell was horrendous-- but this litter deodorizer came to the rescue! It does have a pretty strong sweet/eucalyptus type smell to it straight out of the container, which is not my favorite smell in the whole wide world but is definitely not offensive. I could still smell the litterbox a little, but it was WAY better. I believe that with a better litter, I wouldn't have a litterbox smell at all. It is a little expensive for the amount, but if it works as well as it seems like it is going to it will be well worth it. I work very long hours and am away from home overnight pretty frequently, so I'm willing to pay a little more if it means my roommate doesn't have to smell a litterbox while I'm gone!

This stuff is amazing. Somehow, it makes cat litter smell *good.*

Let me clarify: I don't mean that it eliminates the odor of cat litter, or helps to restore a more neutral-odor to the messes your cat leaves behind. I mean that this stuff, somehow, through some miracle of science and ingenuity, makes your cat litter smell *pleasant.* Enjoyable. Smelling it is a *positive* experience. You'll find yourself sniffing and going "hm, that's a nice smell."

It's unreal.

I adopted a second cat recently and as we are still working on her introductions with my resident cat, they need to be separated a fair amount of time. In a one bedroom apartment, that means one of them needs to be in my bedroom when they are separated...which means that unfortunately, I have to have a litter box in my bedroom.

Thankfully, it is a large bedroom and the litter box is enclosed, but odors can still permeate get trapped with the door closed. I have tried several different products, some doing a little bit while some did absolutely nothing. I thought it was a bit pricey but was willing try and return it if it didn't work. Much to my amazement, this stuff actually does work! And as far as the price is concerned, you only need a small amount at a time - like the instructions say, sprinkle a tbsp or two and mix it into the litter with your litter scoop, that's really all you need - so this three pack is going to last a long time.

Some have noted that the product itself has an odor - I do smell the odor if I sniff from the container directly and a little when I sprinkle it, but after its mixed into the litter I don't smell it anymore. I think it smells like bubble gum or a cinnamon candy...it's not an offensive odor, and certainly better than the smell of cat poop and pee.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a cat. I use it in both of my litter boxes now. This stuff has been working great!

I use corn cob litter because it is what works best with my cats (we have two poop-machines), but the smell is awful. So I have tried several litter deoderizers/nuetralizers and found they didn't actually do anything. I was skeptical about this one as well, but after reading some reviews I decided to try it. It works! It has a nice citrus-y smell and when I put it in I have to remind myself to scoop the litter because the smell isn't there anymore to remind me that it's time. There may be others out there that work as well, but this one I know works great. I am definitely buying more of this.

Smiling Paws Pets cat litter deodorizer is a quality product. The scent is strong but dissipates as it mixes with the litter. I have found other similar products to have a strong scent. Scent is like bubble gum, a little goes a long way. My cats are ok with the scent. I like the fact that this is a natural product and can be used in a variety of ways so it’s not just for litter. For kittens, no matter what products are used, I would check with your vet.
