love it blades are okay, ive had sharper blades before; but the actual handle is great. It makes shaving your head super fast and easy, you do not even need a mirror! a word of advice, i prefer to go with the grain and just make mutiple passes as against hurts or go with the grain and then against.

My husband loved this razor for the whole 3 times he used it before it broke. The piece that holds the blade in simply broke off. Unfortunately, we purchased April 3rd - and I'm writing this May 7th so can no longer return. What really stinks is he liked it so much he ordered more blades which are also useless..... Total waste of hard earned money..

Look gang, as in any endeavor, there are more different contraptions out there that accomplish the same function. And when it comes to shaving your head (as many men do now-a-days), there are many options from which to choose. You could use one of the many head shave electric razors out there (some of them are superb), or you can just elect to shave your head using a regular razor. The issues that arise when using regular shaving razors are often centered around being able to hold the handle correctly while traversing the entire head - not often easy.

OK, although I tend to use electric head shavers (which again, work superbly), periodically, if I don't shave for a few days, it is better to use a manual shaver. I saw this one Amazon and ordered it and wallaaaaaa - what do you know, it works superbly (and smoothly). Just put your finger through the opening on this modified handle, and you are able to reach all parts of your noggin without doing hand stands, crunches, squats, or whatever you do while trying to shave that sucka!!! Do you try to make love while shaving (strange, I know), this baby might even allow you to do that - who knows (sick, I know...)

So yes, for what this is, it was designed just right. At least for me it was. Remember, all of this is subjective.

If you shave the old dome this may be something you want to try. I had the ATX model before I got this one. I like the idea of the floating blade. These razors really make shaving fast and easy, the only thing I didn't like is the finger loop on this model, It's soft and flexible and I found it to not to let me get a good grip, The loop on the ATX model fits much more snug and stays put a lot better. This is important because the loop is what holds it in your hand, you shave with you hand flat and middle finger in the loop. SOOOO...OK Headblade here is what I would like to see, make the loop adjustable, put a wire in it or something so it will hold firmly in the hand. ALSO, the blades are OK, just OK, I still have to make a pass with my Gillette Fusion to get everything clean. THE PERFECT HEADBLADE WOULD BE THE MOTO WITH A TIGHT FINGER LOOP AND THE ABILITY TO USED GILLETTE FUSION BLADES.....That's the ticket!!!!!

I used the HeadBlade sport for years and i finally gave it up because they stopped selling the three blade replacement packs in local stores. I went to a regular razor but when i saw this i thought i would try it. Maybe it is just my head but i cannot get a close shave with this razor especially on the back of my head. I have never had much luck with 4 or 5 bladed razors on my head so if there was an option for 2 or 3 blade razors i would probably use this razor again.

First off I'd like to make something clear: this is the best shaver I've used on my head. It contorts around the natural indentations formed on your dome and it makes shaving quick, efficient, and painless.

Why the 3 stars?

The handle has a very weak point at the swivel that will snap off if any awkward side or downward pressure is applied to the razor portion of the handle. In terms of shaving this isn't a problem, as the handle is designed to easily withstand the pressure from the handle. But if you plan on traveling with it (as I have been trying) the top half can snap off in your toiletry or backpack. I'm now having to buy a 3rd handle to replace the one that just broke on me and at $20 a pop this is becoming a bit expensive to keep replacing. HeadBlade makes a Traveling case for their razors and I urge anyone who plans to travel with this razor to purchase this case alongside it as I will be doing with my next purchase.

If you don't plan to be traveling with this razor at all, then you shouldn't have any problems with this product.

This is by far the most ergonomic razor for bald heads. Have been using it for six months and not one nick. I love my moto!

The Good: This is a better version than the original. The rolling to the left and right is more controllable and harder to scratch the skin
The Bad: The replacement blades seem to be proprietary to this version of the headblade
The Ugly: The unused replacement blades I still possess from the broken first version of the razor are now superannuated

I began shaving my head and using the Headblade Moto at the same time. It's been a month and a half, and I absolutely love it. I can use it in the shower without needing a mirror, and get a close shave. I've had no issues at all -- no cuts, nicks, etc. And most important, the wife loves the new look! I follow up with Headlube and my dry scalp problems have vanished. I am a Headblade customer for life!
