Our dog has allergies. We didn't know if it was due to grass (licking paws constantly) or dog food. Our vet said the dog needed an allergy free dog food and sent us home with a $100 bag a fraction of this size. He said if we tried it for 8 months and the allergy went away, we'd know it was the dog food. Meanwhile, we were to us half a benadryl twice a day. My thoughts were that in 8 months, the grass would be dead and it would be winter and of course the allergies would be gone by then. There was no way I was going to pay $100 for a bag of dog food, twice a month. So I looked for alternatives.

Found this, saw that the zero grain was recommended for food allergies. The dogs have been eating it since last year. Winter has come and gone and grass has been out a long time, and our dog has not licked her paws and had an allergy.

Price is great, we get it delivered monthly so we don't have to haul it from the grocery store.

I believe this is my dog's favorite flavor from the zero grain collection. I started giving him the turkey one which he seemed to enjoy then I decided to switch it up a bit and get him the salmon one. Ugh it smelled super fishy I couldn't stand the smell. But then I bought him this one and he absolutely loves it. Now as soon as he hears me opening the bag he always comes over to start eating right away. I know this is a little TMI but ever since I started giving him this he hasn't had diarrhea or any runny poop. I don't see myself giving him any other food in the future.

I switched from science diet, which was a recommendation from my vet. My dog had been on that dog food for sometime with no problems. But recently he started itching and scratching like crazy. Enough so, that we spent probably a good $600 at the vet trying to figure out what his problem was. After much research, trial and error, I switched to this food. No more itchy scratchy dog. And, I might add he seems a bit more perky. Win win. Expensive though.

My dog was on an expensive prescription food that we were having to buy monthly. He had a ton of GI problems (soft stool, etc.). We were so concerned about the food's lack of nutrition and vitamins... on a whim I picked this up at Walmart. I was so impressed with the ingredients and thought the zero grain might work for him... it's a miracle!! He has more energy, his coat is super shiny, and he loves the taste. :) His stools are firm and he is feeling great. Please don't stop making this flavor/line. It is really great! Give it a try.

This food is a life saver...and wallet! My dogs had began to have issues with their skin, and after several trips to the vet, meds, and lots of money, I switched their food to Rachel Ray Zero Grain and have had no more issues. This is all they eat anymore, along with Rachel Ray treats....especailly my Shih Tzu, he won't eat any other treats except those.

It might have been this batch, I am not sure, but the food it incredibly hard. We even put it in the food processor to break it up and it still didn't work. Dogs could not eat it.

I needed to switch to a product that would last and be delivered to the home.

My pup loves this! He is a picky eater and will not eat that disgusting food he was forced to eat when he was not with me. It’s so funny how when I was finally able to get him he looked at the food, looked at me and walked away! Lol! Not with this food!

So if you have a picky fur baby, they will love this!

Oh yes Eros (my fur baby) loves this food so much, he wants more than he’s allowed to eat! Lol he will look at me, walk to the bag and put his paw on the bag! Lol! He never did this with any brand of food I’ve tried in the past.

Took a full month for my medium sized border terrior cross' digestive system to adjust. Currently does not seem to cause excessive thirst or excessive waste. Weight gain has been very nominal over that period, but for a 2-3 year old 30# rescue, his body is more muscular and solid

The kibble is right sized for training, is non dusting. We feed 1.25-1.5 cups per day using a medium sized Kong to encourage thinking skills and dexterity. Not sure about a border terrior's energy levels due to protein intake. He sleeps a lot, but when he's awake, look out!

My dog is one of 1% of dogs that actually has a serious grain allergy. Grain- free food is healthier anyway for canines but for her it's a necessity. That said, with most brands I have to bury something in like a piece of steak to get her to eat it. However, with this brand she gobbles it up -absolutely loves it!
