The difference between the German Carbide blades and the standard Cricut blades is AMAZING! These blades cut the most intricate designs with absolute precision. We always say "there's nothing like making cuts with a new blade"; but NOTHING compares to making cuts with this blade. Don't hesitate to buy a set!

Have used it to cut in my Cricut explore air. Cuts through 80 lb cardstock like butter, even with intricate designs. Along with purchasing these I bought a few from Cricut-more for fear that these wouldn't work. I received the Cricut ones today. It was from an individual from California. Um Provo Craft is located in Utah...The blades look the same and there was a sticker on the bottom of the box that had the Cricut logo. Makes me wonder what are we actually paying for by buying directly from Provo...

These blades are no where near the quality of the Cricut German blades. I know that with the Cricut, you only get one... but that one has out preformed all three of these blades that came in the package. Not only did I get more life out of my Cricut blade, I got more consistent and precise cuts.
Don't get me wrong, they worked.. just not as well or as long. Not suitable at all on textured cardstock.
Keep in mind, I'm only cutting textured and non textured medium weight cardstock, vinyl, and printed paper.

One redeeming quality is that they are amazon prime eligible (when I made my purchase) and arrived in a hurry.

Blades to me are great and comparable in mechanical value. However, when compare to pricing of cricut and similar blades... No brainer. For me the prices are completely different, where blade quality is not. Thus, being able to cut at same quality for way better price, not sure what else to say.. would buy these again and again...

This is the first time I have purchased and replaced the cutting blade on my Cricut Expression 2 - and I was a little unsure. However, this blade replacement went great and it cuts as well as the original! I have just spent the better part of a week cutting embellishment pieces - from glitter paper, mirror board, and heavy cardstock. Excellent, with no dulling, after at least 25 mats' worth of cuts!

These seem to work great and aren't as expensive as the brand name replacement blades. They fit in my Cricut Explore and are very sharp, cutting cleanly through materials that my old blades dulled on.

These are a life saver for crafters!! So much cheaper than cricut blades and just as good if not better! Only complaint is the packaging, when mine came the box looked empty because they come on a very small piece of card stock so it slipped under one of the cardboard flaps in the box.
