I loved this one. Jet is a pilot who now repos planes for a living. This next job is a big one and she ends up with a team she doesn't want and thinks she doesn't need. They are an interesting bunch of characters. I was on the edge of my seat, trying to figure out how Jet and her team were going to complete their seemingly impossible task. Can’t wait to read more of this series.

The author obviously has a background in aviation - as an Aerospace Historian I usually groan when a non aviator writer tries to write a book that aviation is a key role. Mrs. Parks hits this one out of the ballpark!

Evenly paced, articulately written, and well researched, I highly recommend this to anyone!

I can list a ton of reasons why I liked this book, starting with woman pilot. :D Second, woman mechanic. Whoo hoo. Though she has a very small role...well, not a small role--she's very necessary--just not a lot of her in the book until the end. It also takes place in Brazil, an exotic location.

Jet has to steal a plane...to repo it. Unfortunately, the plan is in the possession of a very bad man...a kingpin of sorts, only he deals with emeralds instead of drugs. I was surprised by that. But he's running out of money and has a cruel streak wider than the runway necessary for his private jet.

This is one of those books in where the less I say, the better. It's action packed, there's betrayal, mind games, guessing games, hidden runways, scaling castle walls, drugs, potential rape, broken arms, fake emeralds...

Parts of it had eyebrows going up. I was like, "really?" It did come off a preposterous at times, but it is a fiction and what's the point of reading if you don't have some fun, experience the improbable. I certainly won't be doing any aircraft repos.

It was a fun, action packed ride. It ended the story, but left me dying of enough curiosity that I'll no doubt pick up the next.

Not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Jet, female pilot and former military is bailing her mom, Red, out of yet another financial misstep--this time in Rio. Off to take back a Gulfstream V from a scary egomaniac into martial arts and intimidation, Jet finds herself an unexpected member of a team instead of her anticipated solo operation.
And what a team it is, from handsome Greek lawyer Demos to a quirky con-man hiding out from his past "pals" in the States, to a female mechanic with a few curves of her own, all run by a mysterious leader she only knows from phone conversations. This fast-paced book is sprinkled with humor and enough nerve-wracking moments to keep you turning the pages well into the night. It's clear the author knows her way around a flight deck, but doesn't bog the story down with too much technical talk. I can only hope this is the first of several books since the terrific characterizations make me want to spend a lot more time with this Repo team!

The suspense and action in Repossessed just doesn't stop. The characters are well written and entertainingly clever. I loved this book and am now looking forward to the next adventure of Jet, Roxie, Lenny and Gregori and the mysterious Graham.

"Repossessed" is a fascinating thriller about the high-stakes game of airplane repossession. Think "Repo Man" for the jet set, only much more sophisticated. Jet is a compelling heroine, a strong, risk-taking aviator who must face a nasty villain with the help of a quirky team of experts as they attempt to extract a costly jet out from under his nose. There's suspense, but not always at a screaming pace - the smart, unfolding plot is more of a dangerous chess game and all the more fascinating for it. I look forward to the rest of the series!

This is the first book I have read by this author. Also first book in a new series. I love the concept of the series and the characters. The characters are unique. The book was interesting throughout. I hated to put it down and read it in three days when going to bed at night. Looking forward to the second book in the series.

Loved Jet, since I enjoy funny quirky leads. I know very little about aviation, however the book drew me in and absorbed me in the story. The boss she only knows by phone conversation was very mysterious and made me anticipate book 2, even more. I'm an avid reader and read a book a day, I can honestly say this one was unique and very awesome story.
