Two tuners for what I have paid for just one....sounded good to me, so I ordered it. Well, these tuners are better than good: these tuners are great! I use one for my banjo and the other for my fiddle. It is wonderfully convenient to know that I have a tuner in each music case - no more forgetting to switch the tuner to the other case when I'm running out the door. And the best part is that these are versatile, quality tuners that can be set to tune more than one particular instrument. So come on string -players, this is the tuner for you! Incredibly simple to use, accurate, and the screen swivels for a clear view from any angle. The battery case does not slide open, but has a slot instead; so a coin or something similar is needed to change the battery. Just a very minor inconvenience as far as I'm concerned. Very satisfied with the purchase of the Nordic Essentials tuner. Don't need two tuners? Give one to a string-playing friend - they will thank you!

These are quite possibly the best tuners I have owned. The display is large and easy to read, and with presets for guitar, violin, bass, ukulele, and banjo, as well as chromo and keys, not only is the one of the best deals for any musician (beginner or pro), but it is quite simply a "must have". With the exception of the violin, I have all of the listed instruments for many years, and Nordic Essentials' Tuners have been the best that I have used.

Furthermore, Nordic Essentials stands behind their product. This I can attest to. They will rectify any situation with their guitar tuners with complete professionalism. Simply put, they are nice people, and that is the foundation to any business.

If you are a musician, whether you are a seasoned professional or a ranked beginner, Nordic Essentials's Guitar Tuners (2 Pack) should be the second thing you purchase (after buying you guitar).

Excellent product and excellent seller.

These are good tuners. Two things I really like: 1.) The head swivels any angle or lays flat for storage. No worrying about snapping off the stalk, like on a Snark. 2.) The display light lights up when the string is in perfect tune. No eye strain from a distance. Looks like you hit a jackpot.
The one thing I don't like is the battery cover. You need a penny to twist it open, and even then it doesn't want to come out. I'm sure they can come up with a better alternative. Overall, though, a good tuner that I would buy again. And, the company sent an email after I received the product just to make sure I was satisfied. Nice touch.

Got this for my daughters ukulele and my banjo. We were using iPhone app tuners, but they can be a little finicky at times. The two pack at a cheap price is what sold me. When they arrived I was shocked at the small size and was skeptical. They both worked great and are small enough I will probably leave installed on my banjo, my daughter likes to take hers off and keep it in the small bag that came with it. I really enjoy the string recognition and that it turns green when tuned. I am extremely happy with the purchase.

I have never had an electronic tuner before. I have been playing guitar and bass for almost 30 years now and have always tuned with my ear and subsequently consider myself very good at it. Got these because I wanted to give one to my son who is just starting out on guitar kept the other for myself. The first time I used it I was floored by how well it works. I kept going on and on to my wife at how well it works. I can't tune a guitar myself better than these can. (My ego took a small hit there) They are so easy to use. I love that the screen color changes when it is in tune, nice touch. Wish I would have had these years ago. I totally love them. Excellent work Nordic Essentials.

I play a lot of open/alternate tunings and having a good tuner is invaluable and although I've only had the Nordic 2 pack tuners for a week or so, I'm a very happy camper! In the attached picture you can see the Nordic tuners on my National Resorocket and Collings Dreadnought respectively and on the third guitar, Larrivee Orchestra Model you may be able to see the Sabine tuner on the body near the neck. I have been using the Sabine for several years and purchased for about $40. I wanted to see how the Nordics calibrated with Sabine so placed both on at the same time and they gave identical results, i.e. two tuners for less than the price of one with no tradeoff in performance. In addition the Nordics have the flexibility to attach and turn in basically 3 axis motion to make visibility excellent from the playing position as shown. Regarding use, you can cycle through a number of instruments or chromatic modes with a simple quick touch of the large button, I'm just leaving it on chromatic and to turn On/Off you just hold the same button longer, very simple and just as you want. As I said I've only had them a week so no comment on longevity but if they last as expected probably one of the better purchases I've made in the last 25 years for playing (with the exception of my wonderful axes shown!). I highly recommend! Eric

Really like this tuner. First time using clip on style. Very easy to use and versatile. Able to tune my electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin and ukulele. Used the chromatic setting to tune my 12-string acoustic.

I bought these for a seven year old and a nine year old for their first guitars. So easy to use! I might get one for me! It allows for easy guitar, bass, ukelele tuning, as well as other non standard tunings, and a chromatic tuner. I can't believe they were able to create such a versatile tuner in such a small device, and at an inexpensive price. I can't recommend this enough!

I had previously tried to order these tuners from this seller and had a miserable experience, but after they contacted me, I decided to give them another try. Items were received exactly when promised and they are exactly what I needed. First impressions are not always accurate. Anyway, they don't really control how Amazon ships their product. I am very satisfied with this order. When my husband saw the tuners, he asked me to order a pair for him. I'm am very happy that I didn't let one mistake spoil my experience. The tuners are so small and accurate and they even fit over the head of my Ovation (which is not easy). Thanks!

Very accurate, high quality, Tuner works by recognizing the vibration in the guitar when a note is played, not from a mic. I clip mine on to my headstock and it tunes my bass and acoustic guitars perfectly. It's great for me because I can get feedback from the tuner and know that I'm in tune while I'm playing and can adjust accordingly. Also, because it works off vibration, it doesn't matter how loud the background noise is from other instruments.

Highly recommend it. Would buy again!
