True to size and description - Do Not Size Down for the Z-Coil Women's Toffler Slip
September 15, 2015
Z-Coil Women's Toffler size 8 delivered today. I am returning these for a size 9. Reviews on this product recommended to size down one size. This did not work for me at all. I think the size 8 shoe that came today is a true 8, so I would NOT recommend for anyone to size down at all. The shoe was very nice looking. I was expecting a clunking looking shoe; but I was pleased to see that it was not. I think it is a better looking clog/slip-on then many of the other expensive high rated brands. I do hope the 9's fit me; wish me luck.
Also: Super fast delivery and super fast refund process; so do not be hesitant to order online
Well the size 9's came and I think they fit; just a little snug. I am not able to wear socks with them, so maybe I should try a size 10. Good grief; so much for the reviews and recommendations to size down. I probably have a fat foot; but if I go up to a size 10; I will probably trip on the length of the shoe or the arch will be off. Anyway; I have been wearing the z-coil shoes and at first I thought I was not going to be able to handle the pain they were causing on the inside of my foot just below the ankle. I put some moleskin on that area of the shoe and that took care of it until I can break them in. So, I wear them a few hours a day; and so far so good. I do walk faster and stronger with less pain. Especially less pain in my knees and lower back. Still having some aches and pains in my hips or when I sit or go to bed, but I have confidence that it will improve if I keep wearing the z-coils. It does take some persistence and determination to get use to this type of shoe; but if you are truly in a lot of pain; it is definitely worth the try. Several years ago I wore z-coil shoes and it cured my severe foot pain (plantar fasciitis); I wish I would have never stopped wearing them.
