This is a great product, I didn't really believe it worked. Since I have been using it my two dogs breath doesn't smell bad. There is no smell to their breath, not good, not bad, just zero odor. I don't know how long it will work as the year progresses until their teeth are cleaned but I have been using it for six months now and it's working every day so far! They don't seem to notice anything has been added to their water and drink as usual

I love my dogs! But their breath smells like a fart on good days, some had to go. After two or three days the offending breath is gone. They drink water at the same rate as did before so I'm assuming they're not bothered by the taste.

My sweet dog has the very, very worst breath. It's hard to put into words but the closest I can get is garbage that has been sitting in the summer sun. It is so foul. I've spoken with my vet numerous times, and have been repeatedly told that some dogs just have really bad breath. I've tried the greenies dental treats, the as seen on TV pooch smooch (should've known this wouldn't work), etc. etc. and nothing even made a dent in the smell.

I heard about TropiClean from a friend and was skeptical but figured it couldn't hurt to try. After about a week of using it every day there was a noticeable improvement to her breath. I am thrilled with the results and will never quit using this product. My dog doesn't seem to mind it being in her water. I will point out that I have to use it every day. If I skip one or two days, her breath starts to revert back to terrible - so I use it consistently.

I had been using the Arm and Hammer product in my bulldog's bowl. I wouldn't say his breath smelled fresh, but it was pretty neutral which was a huge improvement.
Since he also has joint problems I decided to purchase this product this time around. His breath is gross again and I didn't see any improvement in his mobility. I'll switch back to Arm and Hammer

We have a wonderful rescue pup who's breath had become rather stinky as he got older. He has regular health check ups and has minimal plaque and is in good health, so the stinkiness is probably food related. We also give him bully sticks as an occasional treat and those smell really nasty for obvious reasons..!
I decided to see if I could find anything to help freshen his breath and came across the TropiClean range. I first ordered the 16 oz sized bottle of standard water additive (without the hip & joint additives)... I added a cap full to his water bowl and waited to see what he would think of it... When he next went to have a drink he sniffed the water briefly and then drank it as normal. After less than a week of adding the product to his water every time we refilled his bowl his breath was completely neutral - no stinkiness any more - and we were so happy! We tried cutting back the quantity to about half a cap at a time and it's just as effective - he still has no stinky breath issues.
The next bottle I ordered was the Hip & Joint version and again his nose twitched a few times and then he just drank as if it was untreated water.
I've set up an Amazon subscription for the 33.8 oz Hip & Joint version now since it's slightly cheaper and has been such a success for our household.
Needless to say your results may vary - not every pet will like the taste, but I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.

We use this oral care product in our dog's first water bowl of the day. We brush our dog's teeth every day, so they look good but I want to prevent plaque.

When used to help prevent plaque, it works well. When a dog's teeth have plaque the best way to use this is to remove the plaque first.
Apparently, it has no taste when added in the amount called for in the directions because our dog drinks with fervor - he normally doesn't like anything else added to his water - even ice. It has a light minty scent.

I had an old, small dog with a bit of a leg problem, and bad breath. One of his hind legs was sort of weak, and he couldn't put as much weight on it as he used to. By adding a bit of this to his water, overtime he was able to use his leg just as if nothing had ever happened to it. That said, I can't say for sure if it was completely this product, or just the natural healing process, as I'm unsure if his problem was brought on by arthritis or if he simply injured his leg... But it did help his breath if nothing else. It went from smelling not -so-great to being generally inoffensive. In the end, I do think it helped provide a minor boost to his mobility as well, even if it wasn't the sole cause.

While this does not "cure" bad breath or remove tarter that is already there, it makes a positive difference! Both of our dogs have much better breath, and their hips/joints seem to be improved since we've been putting this formulation in their drinking water. Also, they drink it just like they do untreated water.

We adopted a dog that was an outside dog, and after one day using this in her water, she had no more bad breath. We have used it for years for our other dog, but to really show its affect, thought I would share how it helped out very untrained and dirty puppy dog when we adopted her to be an inside city dog. 100% satisfied.

We love our cats as family and loved having them sleep next to us for soothing sleepy time pets. The only thing we would kick them out of the bed if they wanted to groom themselves next to our head or chest because their breath was putrid! We gave them dental treats and chews but the putrid stank breath continued.

We gave tropiclean a shot and wow are we glad! The cats are drinking more water than ever and no more offensive kitty stank breath. About an ounce for every 16 oz and it is not even noticeable in the water..... I tried it. For the price it is worth a shot.
