The FT-2 is responsive and accurate, but what's most impressive to me is the intuitive design: lift the display to turn it on, push down to turn it off. So many tuners are designed with a neck destined to be broken. This design works. It effectively grips the heel of an acoustic instrument so you don't even have to swivel the neck of the tuner as you might need to were you to attach it to the headstock. All in all, thanks for a good product.

This is a very handy tuner. It is quite accurate - a guitar tuned with this tuner always pleases my listeners. I have several guitars & ukes. I have several of these tuners so that each instrument has one. I am a tuning junkie so I have bought & used many different brands. This tuner is the only one where its read-out minimizes jitter & jump-around due to overtones. A stringed instrument tuned with it always makes my ears smile. Aloha from Hawaii.

Best tuner ever. No nonsense. No on or off power button to fuss with. Just flip it into position and it turns on. Turns off when you fold it closed. One step gone. GENIUS. Catches low notes well (I play cello)

Decent enough tuner, but there is a small plastic tab that activates the power. When the unit is folded flat, it presses a switch that turns the unit off. After 2 weeks of light use, the tab broke, meaning the tuner does not turn off. Battery dies quickly. Again, decent tuner, just a pretty significant design flaw that renders it useless. Recommend the Korg version which has an actual power switch.

Works easy and well. My only improvement is to make brighter for use in sunny locations outside.Still way brighter than the SNARK I am replacing.

I must have gotten a mistake. Though the instructions say it will be "yellow if flat, green in tune, red if sharp", mine is Yellow =Flat, RED = in tune, Green = Sharp...

took me a while to figure that one out... weird. some wires crossed?

Excellet tuner. A big leap forward from its predecessor the FT-1. The FT2 screen controls the on / off. The FT2 is much faster reacting. FT2 doesnt seem to care about placement. Finds the pitch quickly. The FT1 needed the sweet spot and reacted much slower to a turn of the tuning peg. FT1 had A bunch of difficult to press buttond for on/off and function. FT2 is plug and play. I love the fact that the FT2 will shut off if device remains in the "on" position inadvertantly. This saves battery. My only gripe is the FT2 waits for 5 mins to turn off. 5 mins is too long. Should be like 1 minute. I own 3 FT2.
