I liked the reviews but noticed there weren't a lot written by females and I'm not normally a big spy or what sounds a little like vicious action...but this was sooo good! It really grabbed and entertained me-to the point that I'm still thinking about the character even after I've finished the book. In fact, although I feel like I have to write this so others get the chance to read it, I really want to start the next book by him I that I just bought. Quick and short-this story is the kind that takes you away and totally entertains. I highly recommend you get this book. It's really enthralling! :)

I had read this book some time ago but did not realize I had not reviewed it yet, so I decided to skim through the book to refresh my memory before posting a review. I found myself re-reading the whole book! And just as it happened the first time I read the book the story hooked me right away—thus, I had to read the book again!

I noticed that some of the other customers feel the same way I feel about Tim Tigner’s books, they remind me of Jason Bourne books. And that is my highest compliment because I was reading Jason Bourne years before they even thought about making them into movies. You have heard the expression “that I have never met a person I didn’t like”, well I have never met a Tim Tigner book that I didn’t like! He has it all going for him when it comes to writing stories. First of all, if you read a little of his biography you know he has the experience to write about the things that he writes about—he experienced Counterintelligence with the US Army Special Forces & other things to do with spy stuff. And second of all, his descriptive writing makes it seem as if you are right there in the story and living the lives of the characters & experiencing what they are feeling.

I won’t describe this story to you as others have already done so & no need to repeat what others have said. Just know that the intrigue, action, and even a little mystery will keep you turning the pages until you get to the end. The story had a satisfying conclusion and no steamy sex scenes or profanity found in the story—which I greatly appreciate! I will continue to read all of Tim Tigner’s books for as long as he writes them.

What would you do if you lost your memory, total amnesia, a diabolical gap of years, and you realize slowly it will never come back. FLASH keeps the suspense going with just that premise. Two principle characters, male and female, gradually figure out they are part of a despicable plot to use a strange chemical to earn huge amounts of money by erasing the memory of targets specified by ruthless clients of a seemingly wealthy lawyer. At the same time they know instinctively that they are the good guys with responsibility to somehow end the plot. Tim Tigner is superb at making the plot wind around keeping the reader guessing till the very end. A great read and very hard to put down before finishing. FLASH is one of those stories that makes the reader skip lunch and dinner just to keep reading. I read until 2:40 AM last night and couldn't put it down until I reached the last page. Now, with blurry eyes and in my 174th yawn of the day, I want to share with other readers this excellent writer that I found. Oh, yes... he has been here for time now, but to me he's new and I thoroughly enjoy his writing. Characters that make you love them or hate them, but that you know they were created for your entertainment. In FLASH, even the asssassin Farkas is likeable at the end because he recognizes Troy's intelligence and respects it. Emmy is witty, provocative and could be a royal pain, but she and Troy steal the show.
I highly recommend this story, and will be enjoying two more of Mr. Tigner's stories starting today --- but hopefully not until 2:40 AM. I kept telling myself while I watched the clock last night that if 'I quit now I'll have more tomorrow"... but I couldn't. Excellent choice for a nice rainy day or a day at the beach.

Tim Tigner never ceases to amaze me. The plot lines to his stories are totally mind-blowing. There is a level of intellect and artistry that raises him above your average thriller writer. To paraphrase a line from this book: "Tim IS the sharpest knife in the drawer."

In FLASH, Emmy and Troy just woke up on Grand Cayman Island sharing a parked car with a dead policeman and they are covered in blood. They each know their own names, but not each other. And their last memory is where they were seven years ago (Troy was a combat surgeon in Afghanistan, Emmy a grifter in L.A.). Obviously, they can't go to the police in their condition. They have to figure out what happened to them and how to get out of their current situation. As they try to keep one step ahead of the cops, they realize they are being followed by an unknown person who is not there to help.

They start putting together pieces of the puzzle and uncover a charismatic attorney with an audacious method of helping clients out of legal jams. In an attempt to stop him, they become pawns in his most despicable scheme yet. To say any more would be adding spoilers. Just get this book now and plan to read it in one sitting.

I have read four other books by Tim Tigner and can honestly say each one is a winner. He combines fiendishly inventive plots with strong characters and always a touch of romance. I have never read another author like him. His world is one a reader will enjoy getting lost in.

Wow!! What a surprise!! This story was incredibly exciting. I can’t imagine awaking covered in blood, with a dead body next to you, and without the last seven years of your memory. Also, you find a very beautiful woman with a very nervous trigger finger on a very lethal gun pointed at you. And.... this is the mild part of the book. It goes up from here.

I recommend this book to all readers who love a great story with really bad guys with really bad intentions and really good guys with no real chance of survival.

Jason Bourne step aside. Troy and Emmy have arrived.

First off, I HATE WRITING REVIEWS, but I know Authors need them to survive and make readers aware of their work, so you can rest assured that if I have posted any kind of review you will know that you have found a pearl that will enrich your reading experience beyond measure (at least in my view).
My reviews do not dwell on the story line or the characters in the story, they just let you know that I found the story interesting, enjoyable and believe you will also, so be brave and pick up a copy, sit down and experience it for yourself just as I did. (I don’t read other peoples reviews, before buying a book)
That is all folks, the only other thing I can say is that I am looking forward to the next book from this Author as I really enjoyed this book.

This is a great book! Lots of guessing what's coming next and how the heck are they going to get out of this one. There were times I wished I could warn them of the danger they were walking into.
The characters are Jack and Emma and when they awake in a car, one in the trunk covered in blood beside a dead policeman and one in the drivers seat with a gun also with blood on them. They awake not knowing where they are, how they ended up in this situation and lost years from their lives.
From the beginning they're on the run, from the police and a assassin.
I loved the twist and turns. I loved the anticipation of what was coming next and the beginning of a love story.
I'm so excited that I have a new author with lots of books to read! Tim Tigner is a very good story teller. His characters come to life and his story line grabs ahold of you. Two thumbs up Mr. Tigner!!!

I cant say enough good about this author. I have read all his books now and wait most patiently for more. tick tock tick tock tick tock.
This story is faced paced. I couldn't put it down until I finished. Characters are awesome. This author writes fast and clever, you might think you have figured out what the plot is but hang on, you don't have a clue. Twists and turns that keep the pages turning themselves. I don't like to give plots away. I just want to say if you want a great read this is it. You wont be sorry. I'm waiting for the movie. He is right up there with the best spy thriller writers.

The book tried to be too many things (mystery/thriller, comedy, sci-fi, romance) and failed to be cohesive. The plot needed more development. There were too many implausible scenarios and the ending with the main villain was sketchy. This read more like a first draft than a polished novel.
