Well I'll tell you whut ladies and gents this is a real solid, heavy duty dumbbell set. I love the fine, waxy black coating on the ends framing the shiny metal pole in between. I've seen some customers complaining saying that "they're too fragile" or "how heavy duty are they?" Well, they're so heavy, so cosmically sturdy, so metal that I fractured my right thumb with them! That's right, two world-shaking fractures! I tripped while carrying one in each hand and smashed my right thumb in between them. How clumsy! I'm right handed, so as you can imagine it's quite hard to do anything. Buttoning pants, writing, wiping, all a struggle. But I shouldn't be complaining because these dumbbells have taught me three important lessons:
1.) Resourcefulness is necessary. Learn to write with both hands in case of emergencies. Don't wait like I did.
2.) Health insurance is important. Always have it so if you exercise too hard it doesn't ruin your wallet!
3.) Like Alfred said to Batman on his death bed, "With great power comes great responsibility." If you have this much power in your weak hands, be sure it doesn't cripple you.
With the satisfaction of these dumbbells and valuable life lessons, I give this a product 5/5 Stars AND one crippled thumbs up! I can't wait to use them in a month when the finger heals!
