More powerful than you think!
on January 18, 2017
I'm actually buying a cosmetic item a 2nd time! (I rarely do). 5 stars for that reason alone.
I lived in Seoul for 8 yrs & really like certain Korean products. Korean "cosmecuticals" are well-researched, effective & surprisingly affordable. I looked on E-Bay for Syn-Ake cream, found this product, then looked on amazon & it was waaay less expensive. The 1st time I used it, I put some on my dry chapped lips. Don't. Some of the cream got absorbed into cracked area of my upper lip & actually gave me a mini-maxillary nerve block! - just like you get at the dentist for a filling in an upper tooth, complete w/ numbness & slightly drooping upper lip! I freaked out a little, but no worries - back to normal in an hour.
Lesson learned - don't apply to chapped skin, open sores, near eyes or to very thin skin like lips! Used elsewhere on the face however, this is a fine, light, rapidly absorbed cream with pleasant fragrance.
Now here's what's cool - the synthetic snake venom acts on tiny little nerves below skin surface, including nerves to tiny little muscles in the walls of tiny little capillary blood vessels - relaxing & opening the capillaries so you get this lovely rosy glow to your face. Really quite remarkable - I've never seen this with any other product. In fact, the whole skin surface relaxes & becomes smooth, & makeup just glides right on. I use this product to just look good when I go out for the day.
Also, surprisingly few ingredients! (That's a good thing). Syn-ake deserves our respect - it's powerful. And what's not to like about sheah butter & caviar extract (2 skin nourishers used since ancient times)? Adenosine tightens & lifts. But it's that rosy glow from the Syn-Ake that brought me back for more.
I really like this particular brand & prefer to buy it thru amazon. Without a doubt, this cream contains plenty of Syn-Ake
