I usually do not write reviews, but I have to for this product to warn future buyers. Everyone please check your contents as I'm sure i'm not the first to report receiving expired Greenies. I have been giving my dogs 1 each daily once I received the treats and did not think to check the contents thoroughly. Today, when I opened the bag I see little white worms near the opening. I dump the entire contents out and to my shock, there's an infestation of these guys in the bag.

This is not ok so please vendors take extra time to not send out expired products, especially ones that are designed for consuming.
Consumers, please check all bags so that you will not have sick dogs on your hands.

After one week my dog went to the vet with an intestinal blockage. Vet said that he sees this often with these chews. They are meant to be well chewed as the chews are very dense. If your dog doesn't take the time to really chew them (as most dogs don't), then it can end up getting stuck in their system.

I was very satisfied customer till I found out about the worms.
I am really frustrated the fact that my dogs have been eating these.
Make sure to check before giving it out to your dogs.

I have a dorky--a dachshund and yorky mix. She's adorable. My baby. I love her as if she were my child and will cut someone to protect her. I'm probably crazy but she's SO ADORABLE and her eyes are super soulful and she is just so wicked smart. I've never had a dog who was this smart. Reminds me of a Dean Koontz character, really. Anyways.

As much as I love her, I've not been fond of her breath smelling like an unmentionable area. More like a dozen unmentionable areas. I've tried everything you can thing of--various treats, bones, even the stuff you add to water (she's too smart and knows I spiked her water, and won't drink it).

So I tried these Greenies. She loves them. And after about a week of having one each day, her breath has improved 100%. Now when she yawns from the other side of the couch I don't want to gag. I don't mind her waking me up with a single puppy kiss now. These are awesome. I'm considering giving some to my brother, and seeing if it helps his breath too.

Apollo LOVES these! At our last vet check-up, the vet said that Apollo's teeth and gums were exceptionally healthy. Although he's a Great Pyrenees, we give him these TEENIE Treats throughout the day, and he enjoys them every single time, without expanding his 'waist.'

My dog absolutely goes bananas for these things. When I got her last year, she was a rescue. She had just given birth to a litter of pups and was fairly malnourished and definitely in poor dental health. On top of that, she was very intolerant of teeth brushing. I don't blame her either - I mean she had just come from a shelter and prior to that who knows. Greenies were a great first step in getting her teeth back in shape while we worked to get her acclimated to the toothbrush. I gave my dog one of these every evening for the first couple of months after I got her, and I was actually shocked at how much her teeth improved over that first few weeks. The plaque/tartar on her teeth has been reduced by about 50% over the course of 4 months, and using these along with a toothbrush even gets my vet's seal of approval.

As an added bonus, my dog loves the flavor of these, and short of real meat, these are one of the highest value training reward treats I can find for her. They are easy enough to cut up into little bite sized pieces for training, so one of the regular sized bone/brushes yields about a dozen little snacks.

Oh, and did I mention the price? I have yet to find a cheaper alternative than Amazon. The local and big box pet stores carry these, but at a much much higher cost.

I ordered the petite for my Cairn Terrier who is 7 years old and not a fan of rawhides. I try to wipe her teeth but I get just the outside. Here is the build up that came off her teeth after 3 greenies. She went from having rotting breath to puppy breath after a week. These pieces are the two big ones. Two small ones fell off later. See how it's shaped around a tooth. I stopped using the wipes.

My dog loves these things, and I only with my wallet did too. He has a horrible habit of trying to finish the whole greenie in 3 bites, so I purchase the regular size and break them in half for him. It ends up being the same amount of greenie that he gets, but with the thicker size, it forces him the actually chew on it and not swallow it whole. As with ANY dog treat, you should still keep a close eye on them (especially if you size up like I do), but I have never had any issues with these in the last year and a half. As far as removing tarter and buildup from his teeth, he does have issues with his K9's and incisors, but these help keep his molars clean. Every few weeks I remove any buildup on his front teeth with a dental tool. Hopefully it will save his teeth in the long run, but even if it doesn't, it is worth giving him anyway simply because he enjoys them so much.

My dog really likes these.... But he still has dog breathe, and these things are awfully expensive. Sometimes it isn't horrible, but sometimes... I wonder what the heck we're buying these for, because his breathe is still pretty bad. I have them on subscribe & save.... but always find myself wondering if it's worth it. Keeping it at 4 stars, because my dog has a sensitive stomach that these don't upset and they are his favorite treat (the only food/treats we've found so far that don't give him diarrhea are Blue Buffalo Lamb and the Nutro crunchy treats and biscuits).

I give Greenies to my 2 dogs every Saturday night after I wash the dishes. I don't know how they do it, but they seem to know when it's Saturday. They sit in the kitchen eagerly waiting for me to finish the dishes. When I'm done, I say to them "what's next?". They coax me upstairs to get their beloved Greenies. I guess they like them!
